The <b>Sr. Training Project Manager, Clinical Research </b>leads the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of clinical research training programs across the institution. This role combines project management expertise with clinical research knowledge to ensure research staff are trained in regulatory requirements, operational procedures, and best practices. The Senior Manager coordinates cross‑departmental initiatives, tracks training compliance, and supports the development of a high-performing clinical research workforce. This role reports to the Director of Clinical Research Regulatory Affairs and Compliance.</div><div></div><div><br>

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Lead the design, development, and delivery of oncology clinical research training programs for investigators, coordinators, and research staff.</li><li>
Manage training initiatives as projects, including scope definition, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.</li><li>
Oversee the implementation of standardized training frameworks aligned with institutional policies, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA regulations, and sponsor requirements.</li><li>
Collaborate with clinical research leadership, study staff, and departmental stakeholders to identify training needs and gaps.</li><li>
Develop and maintain project plans, dashboards, and reporting tools to track program progress, milestones, and outcomes.</li><li>
Coordinate onboarding and continuing education programs for clinical research personnel.</li><li>
Manage learning management systems (LMS) and training documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness.</li><li>
Evaluate training effectiveness using metrics, feedback, and performance data, and implement continuous improvement strategies.</li><li>
Lead working groups, meeting forums, and committees related to clinical research education and workforce development.</li><li>

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</b></div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.</li><li>
5+ years of experience in oncology clinical research, regulatory operations, clinical trial management, monitoring, or research quality/compliance.</li><li>
Experience managing complex projects in a clinical or research environment.</li><li>
Experience managing staff.</li><li>
Strong understanding of oncology clinical trial operations, including investigator‑initiated studies, cooperative group trials, and industry-sponsored studies.</li><li>
Demonstrated knowledge of ICH GCP, FDA regulations, NCI requirements, HIPAA, and institutional research policies.</li><li>
Experience designing and delivering training for adult learners.</li><li>

Sr. Training Project Manager, Clinical Research

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (Fred Hutch) and the University of Washington (UW) Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology are jointly recruiting a full-time advanced fellow at the <b>Research Associate/Acting Instructor</b> level. This is a full-time, 12-month service period, annual appointment. The primary appointment will be in the Clinical Research Division of Fred Hutch.</div><div></div><div><br>
This is a year-long fellowship program with the goal of becoming an expert in BMT and immunotherapy. Rotations will include outpatient and inpatient BMT (autologous and allogeneic, long-term follow-up, etc.) and immunotherapy services. The fellow will initially function as a primary provider with direct patient care responsibilities and will have increasing levels of clinical team leadership over the course of the year. Approximately 8 months will be devoted to clinical activities with the remaining time available for clinically focused research projects.</div>

A Fred Hutch Cancer Center ARNP/PA-C is a certified physician assistant or advanced registered nurse practitioner who provides evaluation and medical management of multiple service lines of adult oncology patients at our community site at Evergreen in Kirkland. They will actively coordinate the complex care of cancer patients undergoing both systemic anti-cancer therapy and radiation therapy. The incumbent will manage side-effects of these therapies, order appropriate laboratory and radiographic studies; prescribe medications and refer patients to other specialists as necessary. The incumbent may provide for post-treatment cancer patients follow-up visits for the medically indicated period after completion of treatment. The incumbent will also provide psychological support to patients by participating in patient and/or family teaching and refer patients to community agencies and other resources to promote optimal adjustment and functioning.</div><div><br>

The Clinical Research Coordinator III coordinates all aspects of clinical research trials except those that require medical expertise or licensure.</div><div></div><div><br>
The Clinical Research Coordinator III is a senior coordinator role on the UW Phase 1 Clinical Trial Program that supports oncology clinical trials conducted at the Fred Hutch/University of Washington Cancer Consortium. The position will work directly with hospital, clinic and research staff in the development, implementation and management of clinical trials. The position is responsible for the collection, coordination, processing, and quality control of clinical trial data in accordance with protocols subject to FDA oversight. Responsible for coordination of long-term follow-up activities associated with these protocols. Uses judgment in data collection, quality control, liaison, and research coordination activities. Interacts with patients, physicians, and other clinical providers and support staff within and outside of the Fred Hutch/Seattle Children&rsquo;s UW system including the Fred Hutch Transplant Service. This individual will work under limited supervision of the Associate Director of Clinical Trial Coordination and will be required to perform his/her responsibilities with a high level of independence within the scope of study protocol(s) and institutional policies and guidelines.</div><div></div><div><br>

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Review and maintain familiarity with research protocols with regard to data collection.</li><li>
Research, maintain, analyze, and abstract patient clinical trial data from pre-study background (e.g., previous diagnoses and treatments) through clinical trial participation and long-term follow-up.</li><li>
Evaluate patient eligibility for clinical trials and assist in screening and patient enrollment.</li><li>
Understand and interact with departments and automated systems throughout Fred Hutch/Seattle children&rsquo;s/UW system to ensure timely and complete delivery of data.</li><li>
Track status of potential and active clinical trial participants.</li><li>
Manage long-term follow-up evaluations and data collection with clinical trial participants, Fred Hutch/Seattle children&rsquo;s, and participants&rsquo; local physicians.</li><li>
Develop data acquisition forms and instructions for completion.</li><li>
Manage and work with computer application specialists to ensure consistency between paper and electronic data systems.</li><li>
Manage monitoring visits and quality control reviews by Sponsors or Investigators.</li><li>
Support regularly scheduled institutional monitoring visits by Sponsors or Investigators to ensure quality and completeness of data.</li><li>
Serve as a liaison and reference resource to Physicians, Investigators, other staff members, and other organizations with questions about data collection or protocol procedures and requirements.</li><li>

Qualifications:

The <b>Clinical Research Intake Coordinator</b> is responsible for supporting the intake, prescreening, and initial coordination activities for patients being considered for Phase I&ndash;III interventional trials and observational research studies. This position oversees subject level intake workflows, including reviewing medical histories, assessing preliminary eligibility based on protocol criteria, coordinating prescreening activities, and serving as an early patient point-of-contact. Responsibilities:
