From digital campaigns to local events like the Clayton Harvest Festival, our goal is to tell our story with creativity, consistency, and purpose.The Role:As our Marketing Intern, you&rsquo;ll help manage and execute a variety of marketing initiatives, including:<ul><li>Running and optimizing Google Ads, Local Service Ads, and Meta campaigns</li><li>Creating and scheduling social media content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn</li><li>Supporting email marketing and blog content creation for SEO</li><li>Assisting with local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization</li><li>Helping with photo and video content from the field, job sites, and events</li><li>Maintaining brand consistency across uniforms, truck wraps, print, and digital media</li><li>Supporting community events, sponsorships, and local partnerships</li><li>Collaborating with our outsourced marketing partners and Pest Daily business coaching team for professional learning and guidance</li></ul>You&rsquo;ll also play a role as a brand ambassador, making sure every photo, post, and design reflects the Freedom standard.What We&rsquo;re Looking For:<ul><li>A marketing, communications, or business student (junior/senior preferred, but others welcome to apply)</li><li>A creative thinker who loves design, writing, and social storytelling</li><li>Someone who&rsquo;s organized, dependable, and eager to learn</li><li>Strong communicator with a professional attitude and attention to detail</li><li>Comfortable being on-site in Clayton, NC and occasionally traveling locally for content or events</li><li>Tech-savvy with social platforms and creative tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing apps</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Paid internship: Hourly pay based on experience and education level</li><li>Flexible schedule: Part-time or full-time, depending on school schedule</li><li>Hands-on marketing experience &mdash; no coffee runs, just real campaigns and creative projects</li><li>Mentorship and training from leadership, external marketing teams, and industry experts</li><li>Career growth: Clear path to a full-time, in-house Marketing Coordinator or Marketing Manager role</li><li>Be part of a veteran-owned company that values professionalism, teamwork, education, safety, and growth</li></ul>Location:On-site in Smithfield, North Carolina, with local travel for events and photo/video content creation.Why Join Freedom?You won&rsquo;t just be an intern &mdash; you&rsquo;ll be part of a mission-driven team helping homeowners, protecting wildlife, and growing a brand that&rsquo;s making an impact across North Carolina.If you&rsquo;re ready to learn, grow, and build something meaningful, this internship is your launchpad.Job Type: InternshipWork Location: In person
