We are seeking an Associate Attorney with experience in handling Tort matters to join our growing Los Angeles, California office. The ideal candidate has at least 3+ years&rsquo; experience. This individual will maintain positive contact with clients, observe confidentiality of client matters, and must be team-oriented. 


FMG&rsquo;s Tort and Catastrophic Loss sections represent corporations and insurance companies in all aspects of general liability, professional liability and insurance coverage issues. We serve as national and coordinating counsel for a variety of carriers and corporations in their litigation matters. 


Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Provide initial analysis and develop case strategy</li>
<li>Prepare and respond to discovery</li>
<li>Take and defend depositions, draft motions and attend hearings</li>
<li>Explain legal options to clients and bringing possible outcomes or threats to their attention.</li>
<li>Build relationships with clients</li>
<li>Ability to negotiate, research, and communicate verbally and in writing effectively.</li></ul> 


Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school.</li>
<li>In good standing and able to practice law in the state of California</li>
<li>Strong critical thinking skills and solid academic background.</li>
<li>Strong sense of urgency about problem solving, meeting deadlines and achieving goals</li>
<li>Knowledgeable, attentive, and proactive.</li>
<li>Excellent communicator, negotiator, public speaker, and problem solver.</li>
<li>Self-motivated, and goal oriented with a track record of meeting billable hours goals.</li>
<li>Inclined to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.</li>
<li>Detail oriented, organized and effective.</li>
<li>Professional and can get along with people; communicates well with staff.</li>
<li>Computer skills: Microsoft Word and Outlook.</li>
<li>Experience with iManage and/or OneDrive a plus.</li></ul>

We are seeking an Associate Attorney with experience in handling Medical Malpractice and Healthcare matters to join our Orlando, Florida office. The ideal candidate has at least 3+ years&rsquo; experience. This individual will maintain positive contact with clients, observe confidentiality of client matters, and must be team-oriented. 


Our healthcare practice team represents hospitals, physician groups, long-term care facilities, nursing homes, medical staffing entities, medical technology providers and many other medical providers and allied health institutions. We also represent physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals in all aspects of their respective professions, including claims for professional negligence. Our attorneys have successfully defended these medical providers in federal and state courts, as well as credential and licensing cases, throughout the country.
