</ul><p><b>Job Summary</b><br>
To perform the installation, testing, inspections and repair of instrumentation, metering, controlling devices within the Freeport LNG facilities. Use knowledge of the principles and techniques commonly used in the instrumentation field. Use knowledge of programming, diagnostics and troubleshooting of all automation equipment including, but not limited to, flow transmitters, flow meters, level transmitters, control valves and temperature controls throughout the Freeport LNG facilities. Ensure that all instrumented equipment function safely, efficiently, and reliably. Maintain all instrument related equipment within budgetary limits by utilizing allocated resources, with the objectives of meeting business goals for production while minimizing unscheduled down time. Assist the FLNG Maintenance Instrument, Analyzer Supervisor with the day-to-day maintenance activities and provide mentoring / coaching to the &ldquo;B&rdquo; Instrument Technicians and nested contractors as needed. Assist in establishing and maintaining minimum and maximum spare parts for the facilities and help in the development and validation of all instrumentation procedures.</p><p>
Location/Travel Information</p><p>
This position is based at the Terminal Facility, LQF or PTF, with travel to off-site locations as required. This position requires the incumbent to hold a valid, unexpired driver license at all times in order to perform the essential functions of the job.</p><div><b>
Duties/Responsibilities</b><br>
<ul><li>Install, test, repair, inspect and maintains metering and recording instruments, controlling devices, analytical instrumentation and performs related work as required.</li><li>Make periodic preventative maintenance inspections of metering control instruments, diagnosing existing or potential trouble; clean, lubricate, calibrate and adjusts as conditions indicate. Keep accurate records, make verbal and written reports of work performed.</li><li>Assist in determining warehouse stock requirements and recommended inventory levels.</li><li>Assist in evaluating bids and provide advice to line organizations of the best value regarding on-site and off-site repairs, including materials procurement.</li><li>Provide technical advice/support to Maintenance, Operations and Engineering Support TEAMS as requested.</li><li>Supervise and Cross Train new or less experienced employees.</li><li>Other duties as assigned and deemed necessary by facility supervision.</li></ul></div><div><b>
Essential Functions</b><br>
<ul><li>Must comply with all facility safety, environmental, and health requirements.</li><li>Accountable for the day-to-day Instrument Maintenance functions associated with the Safe, Reliable and Efficient operation of the Freeport LNG Plant, including all regulatory requirements.</li><li>Basis understanding of SAP System or other Maintenance Data System.</li><li>Ability to operate various equipment required to complete instrument related tasks including forklifts, scissor lifts, extended booms and JLGs.</li><li>Ability to work from heights of 150&rsquo; climb flights of stairs carrying 25# tool bag or equipment</li><li>Must participate in the &ldquo;on call&rdquo; rotation for holidays and weekends.</li></ul></div><p><b>
Minimum Qualification/Work Experience</b><br>
Minimum Education Required: High School Graduate or GED equivalent<br>
Minimum Experience Required: 5+ years Instrumentation and Measurement experience in large industrial plants</p><p>
Preferred Education: Associates/Tech. Degree in Instrument Technology<br>
Preferred Experience: 3+ years Instrumentation and Measurement experience in large industrial plants</p><div><b>
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</b><br>
<ul><li>The safe use of a wide variety of hand and power tools, electronic and electric test equipment as related to field and shop work and safe work practices.</li><li>Inspecting, testing, repairing, installing industrial instrumentation and controls according to established procedures and standards, working from and interpreting wiring and mechanical drawings.</li><li>Communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships.</li><li>Keep accurate, complete records and prepare reports from instrument database software.</li><li>Able to read and understand plant P&amp;ID and PFD drawings.</li><li>Able to develop appropriate maintenance procedures using vendor O&amp;M manuals or BIC practices.</li><li>Must be able to read, understand and adhere to HSE policies, including MSDS systems.</li><li>Must be experienced in the use of PC equipment including software such MS Office and PowerPoint.</li><li>Good understanding of ESD system, Honeywell DCS systems or other Distributed Control Systems.</li><li>Ability to understand and participate in the maintenance budget process.</li><li>Ability to supervise multiple projects (planning, organizing, oversight). Good written/verbal technical communication skill. Good analytical problem-solving skills, including root cause failure analysis.</li><li>Industrial Instrumentation, computer-based maintenance system, understanding of NEC standards.</li></ul></div><p><b>
HSE Roles and Responsibilities</b><br>
Support the policies, efforts, and programs of Freeport LNG Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Management System. Actively participate in the HSE Management System Policies. Ensure that HSE concerns are given priority in all activities completed within their area of responsibility. Implement routine inspections to ensure safe operating conditions.</p><div><b>
Working Conditions and Physical Expectations</b><br>
<ul><li>Must be able to wear all necessary PPE equipment to perform job functions.</li><li>Operates in an industrial plant environment.</li><li>Exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions.</li><li>Not necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes. Possible exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid or windy weather conditions.</li><li>Exposure to moving mechanical parts and electrical circuits.</li><li>Exposure to constant, or intermittent sounds of a pitch level sufficient to cause marked distraction.</li><li>Routinely uses standard office and field communications equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers w/scanner and fax, and radios.</li><li>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an incumbent to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.</li><li>Ability to drive to other Company work locations as required.</li><li>Ability to move throughout all areas of the facility.</li><li>Stand and/or sit continuously and perform job functions for a full shift.</li><li>The incumbent is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.</li><li>Physically able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, handle and move items weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.</li><li>Visual acuity corrected to perform job functions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.</li><li>While performing the duties of this role, the incumbent will be required to talk and hear.</li><li>May be required to enter confined spaces.</li><li>May be required to work at elevated heights.</li></ul></div><p><br>
