Job Description:A highly experienced litigation paralegal who wants to be an integral part of a client-centered and talented litigation team. A great fit would be a skilled problem-solver who has a history of working hard for clients, appreciates the connection between details and client success, intellectually sharp, and emotional capacity to deal with vulnerable clients. The ideal candidate must be confident in managing multiple tasks with little oversight.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage communication with clients to respond to discovery, obtain background and case history, provide case updates, case and care management, coordinating depositions and evaluations, etc.;</li></ul><ul><li>Review discovery responses for deficiencies and provide summary of discovery responses;</li></ul><ul><li>Draft pleadings and motions and file them with the court;</li></ul><ul><li>Perform administrative duties such as calendaring hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and contacting witnesses/experts;</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes;</li></ul><ul><li>Organize exhibits, trial notebooks, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices;</li></ul><ul><li>Aid attorneys with drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission and other discovery requests;</li></ul><ul><li>Gather relevant information from a variety of sources;</li></ul><ul><li>Must have ability to attend in-person trials.</li></ul>Experience and Professional Background/Necessary Skills:<ul><li>3-5 or more years of litigation experience as a paralegal (required)</li></ul><ul><li>2+ years of Personal Injury experience (required)</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to independently become proficient in civil procedure in new jurisdictions, both at the federal and state level, with little supervision.</li></ul><ul><li>Sharp-eyed organizer, adept at untangling complex case details and keeping legal workflows seamless.</li></ul><ul><li>Cool-headed multitasker, thriving in dynamic settings while maintaining razor-sharp accuracy.</li></ul><ul><li>Curious legal sleuth, skilled at diving deep into research and crafting clear, actionable insights.</li></ul><ul><li>Meticulous record-keeping.</li></ul>Work Model:Hybrid - work-from-home 2 days a week after 8-week fully on-site training period.Benefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Disability insurance</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Parental leave</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Seattle, WA 98101
