Responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of commercial/residential HVAC systems utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, pneumatic and electronic control systems, pipe fitting, welding and brazing and mechanical layouts.
<ul>
<li>Uses a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring and piping diagrams, or engineering specifications, to Install, diagnose and repair units.</li>
<li>Operates refrigerant recovery equipment, vacuum pumps, charging equipment and service gauges.</li>
<li>Possess excellent troubleshooting skills to component level.</li>
<li>Inspects system to verify system compliance with plans and specifications.</li>
<li>Completion of routine maintenance and operation of HVAC systems and any other related equipment, which contributes to the safe and effective operation of facilities.</li>
<li>Maintain quality of work, performance and productivity standards.</li>
<li>Performs repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of commercial HVAC systems</li>
<li>Records temperature, pressure, and other readings on log sheet at specified intervals.</li>
<li>Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files. 
Keeps current all manufacturers' products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair</li>
<li>May be required to work varying schedules and shifts to reflect the business needs of the Company.</li>
<li>Knowledge of VAV/VVT HVAC systems experience preferred.</li>
<li>Building controls &ndash; ATC Temperature Electronic and Pneumatic controls.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification in HVAC preferred.</li>
<li>2+ years of HVAC service experience (preferred).</li>
<li>Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.</li>
<li>Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environmental conditions.</li>
<li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Excellent customer service and communication abilities.</li>
</ul>
Working Conditions:
<ul>
<li>Field-based role with travel to residential and commercial sites.</li>
<li>May require overtime, weekend, or on-call hours.</li>
</ul>
