The ideal candidate will have a broad range of experience in either bankruptcy, foreclosure, and/or residential real estate law. Candidate will meet time sensitive deadlines and must be well organized, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and able to provide outstanding customer service to clients.
JOB DESCRIPTION<ul><li>
Draft documents such as pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.
</li><li>E-filing with various court systems.
</li><li>Maintain client and case files.
</li><li>Keep track of changes in legal framework and provide timely updates.
</li><li>Support and prepare necessary tasks for assigned attorney(s) in the office.
</li><li>Evaluate cases, relay concerns, and proactively escalate to attorneys.</li><li>
Maintain filing/document system.
</li><li>Organize and maintain the group's calendars, provide &amp; adhere to legal deadlines.
</li><li>Organize and archive the documents related to completed and ongoing cases.
</li></ul>REQUIRED SKILLS<ul><li>
Minimum of 4 years experience as paralegal in default services. Experience in a Real Estate Law Firm preferred.
</li><li>Superior organizational skills, research, and writing skills.
</li><li>Detail oriented.
</li><li>Ability to work individually and on a team.
</li><li>Deadline driven.
</li><li>Able to manage a heavy workload, multi-task and prioritize.
</li><li>Works well under pressure.</li><li>
Excellent time management skills.
</li><li>Motivated to learn and advance.
</li><li>Bachelor's degree required.</li></ul>
COMPENSATION/BENEFITS

Friedman Vartolo LLP is seeking an Entry Level Associate Attorney who is admitted (or pending admission) in NY to join our rapidly growing firm. We are seeking an attorney who is ready and willing to put in the work to succeed individually and to help us grow. The ideal candidate is aggressive, has effective communication skills, is highly motivated and hardworking. The right individual will be able to provide the quality of work that our clients have come to expect from our firm. 
Responsibilities<ul><li>
Draft, Review and File Summons &amp; Complaint, Dispositive Motions, and other relevant responsive pleadings.</li><li>
Position may require travel to local state courts to appear on settlement conferences, status conferences and other dispositive motions/hearings.</li><li>
Appear on settlement conferences, status conferences and other dispositive motions/hearings.</li></ul> 
Requirements<ul><li>
Applicants must be admitted (or pending admission) in New York
</li><li>Excellent written, oral communication and research skills</li><li>

Compensation/Benefits
