PURPOSE: Boutique Associate will perform duties and complete all necessary tasks in processing customer sales. Must be willing and able to help other floor associates in maintaining all aspects of the store(s). Providing excellent customer service, building staff rapport, and promoting sales.<ul><li>The safety of our employees is a primary concern of Switchpoint. Employees are expected to follow OSHA proper lifting techniques and safe-lifting ergonomics while on the job.</li></ul>
Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Excellent Customer Service Skills &ndash; professional and kind in all interactions with customers, donors, volunteers, team members, etc.</li><li>
Cashier experience. Has the ability to count change back and work in a fast-paced environment. Must be very accurate with cash handling.</li><li>
Able to lift 50+ lbs. Able to be on feet for long period of time.</li><li>
Review and Follow: *OSHA Guidelines for Safe Lifting</li><li>
Great at providing customer service to our guests, donors, and staff Able to price items at a thrift store pricing.</li><li>
Has a good understanding of the value of items.</li><li>
Very organized and detailed in all that is done.</li><li>
Clean driving record. Can drive a box truck and a truck and trailer. Is very reliable and is willing to do what needs to be done to complete the job.</li><li>
Works well with others. Has a great temperament. Is a self-starter.</li><li>
Is good at merchandising the store.</li><li>
Keeps the work area clean and organized.</li><li>
Credit card and cash register &ndash; learn reporting procedures of cash register and credit card machine.</li><li>
Backroom training-donation processing, etc., dealing with vendors, etc.</li><li>
Opening and closing store procedures training, restocking, displays, etc.:</li></ul>
Recordkeeping and Reporting:<ul><li>
Report critical incident(s) immediately to Regional Director.</li><li>
Collects data necessary to meet funding requirements and statistical reports.</li></ul>
COMPENSATION
Pay range starts at $15/hour and caps at $16/hour.

Weekends Required
