PURPOSE:
Provide appropriate supporting housing services for homeless individuals or families, formulating case plans that promote moving towards self-sufficiency. Understand grants and other community housing resources available to clients. Assist in locating affordable housing within the client&rsquo;s budget and the guidelines of the grants.

Job responsibilities:
Intake Process:<ul><li>
Completes an initial needs assessment and acts upon critical needs appropriately and immediately.</li><li>
Orients clients to housing programs, requirements, and consequences.</li><li>
Assures that basic nutrition and hygiene needs are being met.</li><li>
Interviews and counsels&rsquo; prospective clients for the Supportive Housing Programs Switchpoint offers.</li><li>
Other duties as required.</li></ul>
Case Plans:<ul><li>
Develops a comprehensive client-driven case plan with both short-term and long-term goals identified.</li><li>
Use SMART goals.</li><li>
Monitors progress towards goals in regularly scheduled sessions.</li><li>
Evaluates and adjusts case plans as needed.</li><li>
Empowers clients with appropriate resources to assist with meeting goals.</li><li>
Assures that specific HUD program goals are consistently being met and provides extensive case work to foster transition from homelessness to permanent housing.</li></ul>
Training Programs:<ul><li>
Designs, coordinates, and implements Life Skills, Tenancy 101, Finance/Budgeting and other training programs aimed at learning and practicing life skills and decision-making.</li><li>
Evaluates the program for effectiveness and producing changes in client behaviors.</li><li>
Establishes and coordinates day and evening programs, schedules outside service providers and volunteers.</li><li>
Participates in Crisis Intervention/Prevention training, Bloodborne pathogen training and other trainings deemed necessary to the position.</li><li>
Cross-training new employees and job-sharing responsibilities.</li></ul>
Recordkeeping and Reporting:<ul><li>
Maintains client files to include conversations, warnings, progress towards goals and documentation of any incidents.</li><li>
Report critical incident(s) immediately to Regional Director.</li><li>
Collects data necessary to meet funding requirements and statistical reports.</li><li>

Completes the initial assessments, VISPDATs, SPDATs, case management logs, exit surveys, and all incident reports in a timely manner as specified by the program.</li></ul>
Property Management:<ul><li>
Assures the safety of each property through frequent tours of the facilities inspecting any hazards or repair needs.</li><li>
Reports any hazards to the Executive Director for immediate attention; communicates with the resident managers to ensure safety for the residents.</li><li>
Facilitates the repair process in collaboration with the Executive Director and the Chief Financial Officer</li></ul>
Teamwork and Collaboration:<ul><li>
Works in collaboration with programs and other agency staff to facilitate a team environment.</li><li>
Serves on committees as requested.</li><li>
Participates in LHCC team meetings as requested.</li><li>
Role models effective team behaviors</li><li>
Demonstrates effective communication skills in building relationships with all employees and clients.</li><li>
Creates good working relationships with local welfare administrators and other area service providers, support groups, and non-profits to facilitate access to area resources for clients.</li><li>

PURPOSE: Boutique Associate will perform duties and complete all necessary tasks in processing customer sales. Must be willing and able to help other floor associates in maintaining all aspects of the store(s). Providing excellent customer service, building staff rapport, and promoting sales.<ul><li>The safety of our employees is a primary concern of Switchpoint. Employees are expected to follow OSHA proper lifting techniques and safe-lifting ergonomics while on the job.</li></ul>
Requirements:

Excellent Customer Service Skills &ndash; professional and kind in all interactions with customers, donors, volunteers, team members, etc.</li><li>
Cashier experience. Has the ability to count change back and work in a fast-paced environment. Must be very accurate with cash handling.</li><li>
Able to lift 50+ lbs. Able to be on feet for long period of time.</li><li>
Review and Follow: *OSHA Guidelines for Safe Lifting</li><li>
Great at providing customer service to our guests, donors, and staff Able to price items at a thrift store pricing.</li><li>
Has a good understanding of the value of items.</li><li>
Very organized and detailed in all that is done.</li><li>
Clean driving record. Can drive a box truck and a truck and trailer. Is very reliable and is willing to do what needs to be done to complete the job.</li><li>
Works well with others. Has a great temperament. Is a self-starter.</li><li>
Is good at merchandising the store.</li><li>
Keeps the work area clean and organized.</li><li>
Credit card and cash register &ndash; learn reporting procedures of cash register and credit card machine.</li><li>
Backroom training-donation processing, etc., dealing with vendors, etc.</li><li>
Opening and closing store procedures training, restocking, displays, etc.:</li></ul>
