<div>Groundskeeper - Full Time
Friendship Village is seeking a Full Time Groundskeeper to work with our Maintenance team preforming general grounds maintenance and some maintenance and upkeep on buildings and apartments for our senior residents. As a Groundskeeper you will be responsible for tree trimming, lawn care, snow removal, other landscaping duties and general building maintenance.
Working Hours:
Primary hours are 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday to Friday with rotating weekend coverage. Hours may vary depending on weather conditions. Our facilities are open 365 days a year, so candidates must be flexible and willing to work any hours including weekends or holidays on an on-call basis as needed.
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Prior grounds keeping experience required</li><li>
Able to safely operate landscaping equipment without restrictions</li><li>
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Residents, Staff and Guests.</li><li>
Ability to communicate effectively</li><li>
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>
Work involves moderate to heavy work in all types of weather. There is a frequent need to stand, stop, walk, lift heavy objects (up to 100 pounds) and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday.</li></ul>
