Who we are looking for:

This position supports the Controller in financial management and oversight of the accounting operations of the company under the guidance of the Chief Financial Officer. The Assistant Controller is a full-time, on-site position with benefits. This role offers significant potential for advancement, serving as a direct pipeline to a Controller position for high-performing individuals who demonstrate strong leadership and strategic aptitude.

What you&rsquo;ll be doing:

Specific duties include, but not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Ensuring the accuracy and reconciliation of the general ledger, sub-ledgers and all bank reconciliations.</li>
<li>Supporting the operations of the accounting department, which includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.</li>
<li>Supporting and maintaining a documented systems of accounting policies and procedures as well as a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.</li>
<li>Participating in the production of monthly financial reports, ensuring that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.</li>
<li>Assists with preparation for external audits and providing needed information for all annual audits.</li>
<li>Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.</li>
<li>Other supporting duties as assigned by the Controller or CFO.</li>
</ul>
What you need to have:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required</li>
<li>10+ years of related experience required</li>
<li>Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant preferred</li>
<li>Excellent communication and presentation skills both oral and written</li>
<li>Must be able to successfully manage numerous assignments and meet deadlines</li>
<li>Must be able to work independently and within teams to achieve goals</li>
<li>Must be detail-oriented, willing to work weekends and long hours</li>
<li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License required</li>
<li>Some travel to operational branches may be required</li>
<li>Must be willing to participate in and pass F&amp;R&rsquo;s pre-employment screening including a background investigation, drug screening and driving record</li>
