</b></p><p>Summary:
<br>
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing/Director of Health Services is responsible for supervising CNA's / Nurses Aids to ensure that quality patient care and needs.<br>
<br>
</p><div>Detailed responsibilities:
<br>
<ul><li>Licensed Vocational Nurse 1
</li><li>Provides quality Customer Service efficiently to residents, families, co-workers and vendors in a manner to ensure satisfaction
</li><li>Arrives to work on time, in proper clean uniform, good personal hygiene and with nametag visible
</li><li>Coordinates and performs resident assessments and plan of care evaluations when appropriate
</li><li>Coordinates and performs needed treatments, medications or other nursing interventions as indicated by the patient plan of care or as ordered by the physician
</li><li>Ensures all needed emergency measures are followed as per facility policy and within standards of nursing practice
</li><li>Maintains inventory of medical supplies and medications to meet patient/resident needs
</li><li>Ensures that all patient/resident rights are protected
</li><li>Maintains all documentation as required by Federal and State regulations and Company policy
</li><li>Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner Uses equipment correctly and safely in performing patient/resident care Follows department safety protocols at all times Wears safety equipment as required for the job Reports any safety hazards and/or accidents to supervisor
</li><li>Follows highest standards of cleanliness Follows all federal, state and corporate policies, health codes and guidelines in preparation and handling of foodstuffs
</li><li>Attends all mandatory in-service meetings Complies with all department and facilities policies and procedures
</li><li>Front Porch is committed to the prevention of accidents by providing equipment with safeguards, personal safety equipment on jobs which require it, and adequate safety instructions to all employees
</li><li>All employees are required to follow safe work habits in order to prevent injuries to themselves, residents, visitors or other employees<br>

Essential:

<ul><li></li><li>Must be able to understand, follow, support and initiate policies and procedures of the facility.
</li><li>Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
</li><li>Must be able to recognize emergency situations and respond appropriately.<br>

<ul><li>Licensed Vocational Nurse - California<br>
</li></ul></div><div>Education with Equivalent Qualifications:

Essential:

<ul><li>Vocational School Certification or Associate&rsquo;s degree<br>
</li></ul><br>
</div><div>Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:
<br>
Essential:
<br>
<ul><li>0 Year with knowledge of State and Federal regulations
</li></ul>Nonessential:
<br>
<ul><li>0 Year long term care, geriatric and/or rehabilitative nurse<br>
