<ul><li>Overall OT Operations Management</li><li>Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily operations of the cardiothoracic OT, ensuring optimal utilization of resources, smooth patient flow, and timely surgical schedules.</li><li>Oversee pre-op and post-op nursing preparations and maintain sterile field standards.</li><li>Team Supervision &amp; Staff Deployment</li><li>Supervise, allocate, and monitor OT nursing staff duties (scrub nurses, circulating nurses, technicians, orderlies) to ensure adequate coverage and balanced workloads.</li><li>Conduct regular performance appraisals, skill assessments, and mentoring for the OT nursing team.</li><li>Clinical Quality and Safety Compliance</li><li>Enforce strict adherence to infection control, sterilization, biomedical waste management, and universal safety protocols.</li><li>Ensure compliance with NABH/JCI and hospital quality standards in all perioperative practices.</li><li>Equipment &amp; Instrumentation Management</li><li>Oversee availability, functionality, and preventive maintenance of specialized cardiothoracic surgical instruments, equipment (e.g., heart-lung machine, diathermy units), and consumables.</li><li>Coordinate with biomedical and central sterile supply departments (CSSD) to prevent equipment downtime.</li><li>Coordination with Multidisciplinary Teams</li><li>Act as the central communication link between surgeons, anesthetists, perfusionists, ICU teams, and other departments for seamless surgical workflow.</li><li>Participate in preoperative planning and post-op debriefs to enhance team coordination.</li><li>Training, Skill Development &amp; Emergency Preparedness</li><li>Conduct regular in-service training, drills, and competency assessments for OT nurses in cardiothoracic procedures and emergency response (e.g., cardiac arrest, massive blood loss).</li><li>Foster continuous professional development and readiness for complex surgical cases.</li><li>Documentation, Audit &amp; Inventory Control</li><li>Ensure accurate documentation of surgical procedures, instrument counts, incident reports, and patient safety checklists.</li><li>Monitor and control OT inventory, requisitions, and consumption patterns to minimize wastage and cost overruns.</li></ul>If you want, I can also prepare a clear JD formJob Type: Full-timePay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Leave encashment</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
