Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our vibrant legal team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting attorneys across a diverse range of practice areas, including bankruptcy, criminal law, and family law. Spanish speaking would be great but not required. Your energetic approach and proactive mindset will help streamline legal processes, manage case files efficiently, and ensure the highest standards of legal research and document management. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal expertise while contributing to impactful legal work.Responsibilities;<ul><li>Friendly, self-motivated individual with precision and attention to detail, looking for a satisfying career.</li><li>Support administrative functions such as filing, scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling phone inquiries with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.</li><li>Assist in client interviews and maintain effective communication with clients to gather necessary information for case preparation.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Paralegal experience or prior legal administrative experience demonstrating familiarity with law office procedures would be helpful but not required, we will train you.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; proofreading and transcription abilities are essential.</li><li>Ability to perform detailed document review and data entry accurately while maintaining confidentiality.</li><li>Effective communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for interacting with clients and team members.
