Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and a love for coffee, contributing to a welcoming caf&eacute; atmosphere. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction.Duties<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and beverages according to established recipes and standards.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.</li><li>Operate the POS system for processing transactions efficiently and accurately.</li><li>Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of the caf&eacute; area, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas.</li><li>Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.</li><li>Stay informed about new products and promotions to effectively engage customers in sales opportunities.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous experience in the coffee industry is preferred.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.</li><li>Familiarity with Square POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus.</li><li>Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.</li><li>Ability to work well in a fast-paced caf&eacute; environment while maintaining attention to detail.</li><li>Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and passion for coffee culture is highly desirable.</li><li>Must be able to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.</li></ul>Join our team as a Barista and be part of creating memorable experiences for our customers through exceptional service and quality coffee!Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hourWork Location: In person
