You&rsquo;ll work closely with our Lead Software Engineer and company leadership to design, architect, and deliver AI-driven products. While you&rsquo;ll have real ownership over projects, this role is collaborative &mdash; leadership sets the vision, and you&rsquo;ll help bring it to life with technical expertise and execution.Speed is everything in this role. The right candidate doesn&rsquo;t just use AI tools for minor productivity boosts &mdash; you&rsquo;ll leverage AI-assisted coding environments (e.g., Lovable.dev, Emergent, Cursor) to move from idea to MVP rapidly, without sacrificing long-term maintainability.What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Design, build, and maintain both internal tools and consumer-facing software products.</li><li>Drive development on AI/ML integrations &mdash; from LLM-powered apps to workflow automation.</li><li>Architect full-stack applications (web, mobile, backend, APIs, databases) with scalability in mind.</li><li>Develop and launch mobile applications (iOS &amp; Android) alongside web products.</li><li>Collaborate with the Lead Engineer, CEO, and Commercial Manager to deliver on product roadmaps.</li><li>Prioritize speed of iteration while ensuring security and code quality.</li><li>Mentor junior engineers or contractors as the team expands.</li><li>Document code and systems to ensure smooth handoff and knowledge transfer.</li></ul>Must-Have Skills &amp; Experience<ul><li>Strong full-stack engineering background (backend, frontend, APIs, databases).</li><li>Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML models, APIs, or frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar).</li><li>Proven track record of rapidly building and launching production-ready software products.</li><li>Experience developing mobile applications (iOS &amp; Android) in production.</li><li>Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, or Azure).</li><li>Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or similar) and/or mobile frameworks (React Native, Swift, Kotlin, etc.).</li><li>Ability to evaluate and adopt emerging AI tools quickly.</li><li>Strong communication skills and comfort working in a lean, fast-paced environment.</li></ul>Bonus Points For<ul><li>SaaS or plugin development experience.</li><li>Prompt engineering expertise.</li><li>PHP experience (many of our upcoming projects involve PHP-based apps).</li><li>Experience with automation tools like AutoGPT, N8N, or similar systems.</li><li>Contributions to open-source AI/ML or dev tools.</li></ul>Who You Are<ul><li>A senior-level contributor who thrives in a small, dynamic environment.</li><li>Entrepreneurial and resourceful &mdash; you solve problems without waiting for perfect structure.</li><li>Obsessed with speed &mdash; you believe in getting products to market fast and iterating.</li><li>Excited to build AI-powered products from the ground up.</li><li>Confident in technical decision-making, while aligning with leadership&rsquo;s direction.</li><li>Someone who treats AI-assisted coding as a multiplier, not a novelty.</li></ul>Why This Role MattersAs our Senior Software Engineer (AI-Focused), you&rsquo;ll help set the technical foundation for our AI products while working closely with leadership to deliver solutions that matter.
