</b></p><div><b>BRIEF DESCRIPTION </b><b>:
</b></div><p>The Media &amp; Content Coordinator for the Asian American Center serves as a key communications and media partner to the AAC Managing Editor. This role creates, produces, and distributes media assets across the Center's platforms, with a focus on writing, editorial support, podcast and video production, and digital content design and management.
</p><div><b>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS </b><b>:
</b></div><div><ul><li>Support the AAC Managing Editor in producing web resources, content, and communications
</li><li>Write, edit, and proofread content , including articles, newsletters, video and podcast titles and descriptions, and social media copy
</li><li>Manage and publish content on AAC's Substack, including formatting, scheduling, and audience communications
</li><li>Edit podcast episodes and video content using Descript, including transcription, clean-up, and audio/video refinement
</li><li>Create and edit short-form video content using CapCut or Canva for social media and digital platforms
</li><li>Design graphics, promotional materials, and visual assets using Canva
</li><li>Collaborate with the Managing Editor to develop and maintain a content distribution plan and editorial calendar
</li><li>Manage organizational systems and scheduling tools to ensure timely content production and publication
</li>Distribute media assets across the Center's social media platforms and digital channels<br>

<div><b>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED </b><b>:
</b></div><div><ul><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
</li><li>At least 3 years of professional editorial, writing, or communications experience
</li><li>Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail
</li><li>Proficiency with Descript for podcast and video editing (transcription, clip editing, audio/video cleanup)
</li><li>Experience with Canva for graphic design and video editing
</li><li>Familiarity with CapCut or equivalent short-form video editing tools
</li><li>Experience managing a Substack publication or similar newsletter/blog platform
</li><li>Ability to build and maintain organizational systems, editorial calendars, and scheduling workflows
</li><li>Proficiency with Google Apps and Microsoft Office Suite
</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively, consistently meeting deadlines
</li>Familiarity with Asian American ministry and community dynamics; Asian American ministry experience is a plus<br>

</li>This position is available for remote work within the United States, subject to payroll state tax approval by Fuller Theological Seminary<br>
