We are looking for a proactive team player with an eagerness to learn and grow to join our team as a Software Developer. Software Developers thrive on the challenge of developing results-oriented applications. In this role, you will contribute to development sprints by writing code to provide a specific solution, review code written by peers, and write documentation to accompany the solution.
This position will be in our home office located in Abilene, TX
Primary Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Learn the tools, technology, and processes that are implemented within your team.</li><li>
Implement solutions for bugs and enhancements within our software.</li><li>
Review peer solutions for bugs and enhancements within our software.</li><li>
Write in-code and external documentation for any solutions you implement as well as for any dependencies or strategies you introduce to the software.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Experience with any of the following back-end languages: Java, C#, React Native, or Ruby</li><li>
Experience with any of the following front-end languages: Vue.js, JSF, and HTML</li><li>
Experience with databases and writing SQL</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field of study preferred but not required.</li><li>
Previous experience as a software developer</li><li>
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.</li><li>
Solid work ethic, integrity, and exceptional interpersonal/communication skills</li><li>
Ability to self-test work to ensure best practices and highest quality</li><li>
Ability to work independently or as a team</li></ul>

Gain a variety of software development experience, including, in-depth industry knowledge and application</li><li>
Hands-on, &ldquo;real world&rdquo; experience of coding and software development</li><li>
Proficiency in software development and programming</li><li>
Experience with write in-code and external documentation for any solutions you implement, as well as for any dependencies or strategies you introduce to the software</li></ul>
