Job OverviewFurniture Avenue is looking for enthusiastic and customer-oriented Sales Associates to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment, helping customers find the perfect furniture for their homes, and driving sales to support the success of our showroom. You&rsquo;ll provide personalized service, maintain product knowledge, and ensure every customer has an exceptional shopping experience.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet customers promptly and create a positive first impression.</li><li>Engage with customers to understand their needs, preferences, and style.</li><li>Present product features, benefits, and financing options in a clear and professional manner.</li><li>Assist customers with selection, measurements, and product availability.</li><li>Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.</li><li>Follow up with customers regarding orders, deliveries, and satisfaction.</li><li>Maintain showroom appearance by organizing displays and keeping the sales floor clean.</li><li>Stay up to date on current promotions, new products, and store policies.</li><li>Work collaboratively with the team to meet and exceed sales goals.</li><li>Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Previous retail or sales experience (furniture sales a plus, but not required).</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to build relationships and provide outstanding customer service.</li><li>Goal-oriented with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.</li><li>Basic computer skills and ability to learn point-of-sale systems.</li><li>Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.</li><li>Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
