<div>PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE:
Under direct supervision, is responsible for the general maintenance and housekeeping of the facility adhering to standard operating procedures (SOP) and other regulatory requirements
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>
Perform and document prescribed cleaning duties for the entire operation including internal and external housekeeping of manufacturing, warehouse, maintenance areas and outside grounds.<ul><li>
Sweeping, dusting, cleaning, including operating riding floor sweepers, power washing floor and walls, etc.</li><li>
Mowing and related lawn and grounds maintenance</li><li>
Snow removal</li><li>
Driveway maintenance</li></ul></li><li>
Perform scheduled deep cleaning as directed.</li><li>
Apply floor dry and other slip avoidance in warehouse and manufacturing areas.</li><li>
Wash company vehicle and cleaning of interior cab.</li><li>
Run errands for company needs including parts run.</li><li>
Maintain and perform master sanitation and refuse program.
</li><li>Equipment suitability, clean and maintenance lead.</li><li>
Utilities program lead.</li><li>
Waste disposal lead.
</li><li>Properly use all cleaning equipment and supplies.</li><li>
Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse and manufacturing areas.</li><li>
Assist in gathering, storing, and organizing rework products.</li><li>
Assist in loading and unloading of materials from bag and bulk trucks.</li><li>
Special packaging and labeling as directed.</li><li>
Assist with pallet storage, pallet and slip sheet replacement at robotic units.</li><li>
Backup manufacturing duties when needed. Opportunity to be promoted to open positions in the manufacturing, warehouse and maintenance functions.</li><li>
Complete safety training as assigned or required.</li><li>
Assist as directed by plant and/or maintenance manager.</li><li>
Perform other work-related duties as requested or required.</li></ul>
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>
Be able to succeed within and adhere to the culture of the Furst-McNess Company.</li><li>
Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.</li><li>
Education equivalent to high school diploma.</li><li>
Ability to read, write and speak English.</li><li>
Good communication skills, both oral and written, and is capable of utilizing these skills within all levels of the Company as well as externally.</li><li>
Ability to ascend ladders and various heights using stairs, elevated walkways and/or elevators.</li><li>
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull and/or stoop up to 70 lbs. of material on a regular or continuous basis.</li><li>
Ability to maneuver heavy loads (up to 2,000 lbs. pallets) with a pallet jack; safely operate all equipment along with being a certified forklift operator.</li><li>
Ability to perform cleaning operations while exposed to dusty environment, and ability to wear/use all appropriate protective equipment.
</li><li>Ability to work days or hours that the business requires.</li><li>
Ability to learn and comply with GMP and regulatory requirements imposed on manufacturing facilities by the FDA, OSHA and EPA in regard to manufacturing of food and drug products.</li><li>
Ability to provide outstanding customer service to all associates and management staff, showing a sense of urgency relative to solving problems, performing assigned tasks, employee concerns, etc.</li><li>
Ability to effectively organize work schedules and manage multiple assignments by utilizing time management skills to ensure day-to-day assignments and special projects are completed within guidelines agreed upon.</li><li>
Ability to work as an effective team member within the plant and company, as a whole. Willingness to pitch in and do work that may not be a specific part of the job description for the overall good of the department and company.</li><li>
Ability to be flexible and be willing to change along with recommending and making changes that can enhance our ability to serve both internal and external customers more effectively and in a professional manner. Respect other peoples' points of view and be able to take constructive criticism.</li><li>
Ability to travel as business dictates. Must always possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license and maintain a good driving record (within guidelines set forth in company vehicle policy).</li></ul></div>
