 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Own the implementation and monitoring of live crypto market-making strategies
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyse interactions between crypto liquidity, token incentive mechanisms, and DeFi market dynamics
 </li>
 <li>
 Design and implement liquidity strategies to support healthy trading of Energy dollars across exchanges
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with engineering to create backtesting, monitoring, and execution tools for token market activity
 </li>
 <li>
 Work with product teams to manage liquidity provision, token supply, and market risk
 
 
 </li>

 Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>

 2+ years of experience in quantitative research, trading, or market making (crypto or traditional markets)
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in Python for data analysis, backtesting, and monitoring
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working with large-scale market data and building research pipelines
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to design dashboards, alerts, or monitoring systems for real-time trading performance
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with DeFi protocols, automated market makers, and token economics is a plus

Quantitative Researcher (Crypto)

We are currently seeking a quantitative researcher with a strong background in statistics to join our team. The role will be responsible for developing and implementing models for our energy supply business. As a quant researcher, you will work closely with our engineering team to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of our models.  As the Head of Engineering (Trading) at Fuse Energy, you will lead the design and development of our trading systems, driving the technical strategy behind our real-time decision-making and execution capabilities. You will own the architecture, reliability, and performance of our trading infrastructure, ensuring it can scale with business demands and expand into other markets.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities

 Lead engineering efforts focused on scaling and optimizing our trading systems across multiple energy markets
 </li>
 <li>
 Build and maintain integrations with exchanges and data providers
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop new and improve existing proprietary trading technology for risk management, P&amp;L tracking, and weather forecasting
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure seamless integration between trading operations and retail customer platforms (usage data, billing, tariff management)
 </li>
 <li>
 Work closely with quants and traders, putting trading strategies into production and building new tools
 </li>
 <li>
 Mentor and grow a high-performing team of engineers
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Requirements

 Proven track record as a senior software engineer, tech lead, or engineering manager within trading
 </li>
 <li>
 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and event-driven architectures
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of trading system architecture, including market data ingestion, execution engines, pricing, and risk systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Track record of setting technical vision and aligning engineering initiatives with broader business goals
