Job Title: Site Engineer SCN (Structured Cabling Network)Location: Preferably based in Qatar Job Type: Full-TimeJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Engineer SCN (Structured Cabling Network) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fiber optic installation, testing, and maintenance, with proven experience in the GCC region. Candidates with relevant certifications and a valid Qatar driving license will be given preference.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Install, splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cables (single-mode and multi-mode).</li><li>Perform OTDR testing, power meter testing, and visual fault locating.</li><li>Interpret fiber optic schematics, network layouts, and installation blueprints.</li><li>Maintain and troubleshoot fiber optic networks and infrastructure.</li><li>Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.</li><li>Document installation and maintenance activities accurately.</li><li>Collaborate with project managers and other technicians to ensure timely delivery of services.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements:<ul><li>Education:</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering (Electronics &amp; Communication)</li><li>OR 3-Year Diploma in Electronics &amp; Communication Engineering</li><li>Experience:</li><li>Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the GCC region in fiber optic installation and maintenance.</li><li>Certifications (Mandatory):</li><li>BICSI Installer 2, Optical Fiber (INSTF)</li><li>Training certifications from Corning, Nexans, CommScope, or Panduit</li><li>Other Requirements:</li><li>Valid Qatar Driving License (preferred)</li><li>Strong understanding of fiber optic standards and best practices</li><li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment</li><li>Good communication and documentation skills</li></ul>Preferred Skills:<ul><li>Familiarity with structured cabling systems and data center environments</li><li>Experience with fiber optic tools and equipment</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time

If you have a strong background in MEP, Civil, and Electrical works and are passionate about upholding quality standards on-site, we&rsquo;d love to hear from you.Job Responsibilities:&middot; Assist in drafting and reviewing QA/QC documentation and records.&middot; Conduct and coordinate Material Inspection Requests (MIR) and Inspection Requests (IR) with the Main Contractor, Consultant, and Client representatives at site.&middot; Perform inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.&middot; Maintain proper documentation of QA/QC reports and inspection records.&middot; Report and follow up on non-conformities and corrective actions.&middot; Coordinate with subcontractors for all QC-related on-site requirements.Requirements:&middot; Diploma or bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical).&middot; Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC supervision covering MEP, Civil, and Electrical works.&middot; Familiarity with Dar Al-Handasah quality inspection procedures is an added advantage.&middot; Sound knowledge of QA/QC principles, documentation, and inspection procedures.&middot; Strong communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.&middot; Must be locally available in Qatar with a valid QID, driving license, and own car.Job Type: Temporary Contract length: 4 months
