 Responsible for ensuring that the Company&rsquo;s QA Policies &amp; Procedures are correctly
 
 implemented and followed at all times
 
 
 
 Description
 
 
 
 Maintain Quality System:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Maintain company&rsquo;s the Quality Management System at all times and ensure its implementation in order to&nbsp;
 
 comply with the industries requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop, establish and implement the quality management system in coordination with the management and all other departments in order to ensure continual improvements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Recommend and initiate continuous process improvements
 </li>
 <li>
 Will be the local recipient, custodian and controller of know-how and updated received from TID-KHM. Also ensures correct implementation of the know-how in the factory
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Responsibilities / Performance Measures

 Availability of Company Quality Manual &amp; Quality Policy
 </li>
 <li>
 Availability of Process flow charts &amp; Procedures
 </li>
 <li>
 Availability of Quality Objectives &amp; Work environment feedback records for minimum production &amp; QC processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 No. of improvement projects Company&rsquo;s Accreditations &amp; Product certifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure maintenance and renewal of company&rsquo;s Accreditations and product certifications as required in order to maintain their continuity
 </li>
 <li>
 Availability of List of Accreditations &amp; its Status.
 </li>
 <li>
 Availability of Certificates of product certifications &amp; other accreditations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Availability of Third party audit reports(QMS)
 </li>
 <li>
 Availability of Product certification audit reports
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Leadership:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Ensure the effective achievement of QA departmental objectives through the leadership of the QA section &ndash; setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal &ndash; in order to maximize subordinate and the performance of the section.
 </li>
 <li>
 Individual objectives, training and development plans in place for all direct reports within the timescales defined by the corporate Performance Management process.
 </li>
 <li>
 Frequency of feedback &amp; appraisal meetings.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Update National &amp; International standards within Company:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Ensure that any changes to National or International Standards to which the Company operates are updated as and when changes are implemented so as to comply to the latest requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Availability of List of current National &amp; International Standards in use within the company.
 </li>
 <li>
 Availability of Standards.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Review and update Assurance Procedures
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Renew, update and circulate revisions to the Quality Assurance Procedures as they occur through the issuance of controlled documents in order to ensure that only the latest documents are in use.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Availability of QMS Procedures &amp; its status.
 </li>
 <li>
 Availability of Document Transmittal Note.
 </li>
 <li>
 Availability of List of Controlled Document &amp; its holders.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Quality Audits:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Conduct Internal Quality (QMS) Audits, raise NCR&rsquo;s in case of non-compliance and ensure their close outs. Prepare internal audit reports in order to ensure compliance to requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 Availability of Internal Audit Schedule
 </li>
 <li>
 Availability of Internal Audit Reports
 </li>
 <li>
 Availability of Non-conformance Reports with corrective &amp; preventive actions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Availability of Non-Conformance Log with status Training programs &amp; individual assessment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that training programs are generated by each department and ensure that individual assessment are regularly undertaken and documented so as to ensure compliance to requirements and to provide a platform for continuous improvement of the QMS.
 </li>
 <li>
 Availability of Training Programs/Assessment Records
 </li>
 <li>
 Availability of Training Certificates(external)
 </li>
 <li>
 Availability of Training Feedback records.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 SPAN OF COMMUNICATION
 
 
 Internal:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Senior, middle &amp; lower level staff and specialist functions.
 </li>
 <li>
 General Manager Operations on a weekly basis to report progress versus departmental targets and to discuss any pertinent issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Liaison with all Managers, Head of Departments &amp; Supervisors to ensure that QA activity is carried out without disrupting any operational activity.
 </li>
 <li>
 Managers, Head of Departments, Supervisors on a weekly basis to report and discuss any pertinent issues.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 External:&nbsp;
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Third Party Auditors, Clients representatives and Accreditation bodies
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 &nbsp;JOB RELEVANT INFORMATION (BOUNDARIES &amp; DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY)
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Authorized to issue NCR&rsquo;s in case of non-compliances and ask for corrective actions.
 </li>
 <li>
 The jobholder has a decision-making responsibility as per company&rsquo;s authority level.
 </li>
 <li>
 Freedom given to priorities jobs on the basis of operational need in consultation with the Plant Manager &amp; GM Operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Freedoms given to define standard working instructions/procedures for all QA activities but these require approval, GM Operations prior to implementation.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, &amp; SKILLS
 
 
 Required Qualifications:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelors in Engineering / Science
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Preferred Experience:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 3 to 5 years QA Engineer in a medium to large size manufacturing company.
 </li>
 </ul>
