We offer a dynamic call-center environment with opportunities for upward mobility.Job Description:As a Mortgage Debt Collector, you will:<ul><li>Handle billing and collections inquiries.</li><li>Generate revenue for clients by ensuring timely and accurate payments.</li><li>Assist consumers in preventing home repossession through financial planning.</li><li>Perform basic office duties such as faxing documents, typing invoices, and answering phones.</li></ul>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Multi-task effectively.</li><li>Demonstrate proficiency in email etiquette and communication skills.</li><li>Meet the assigned minimum number of phone calls/attempts/accounts per day.</li><li>Maintain attention to detail in data entry and recording conversations.</li><li>Provide clear and concise information to debtors.</li><li>Exhibit outstanding follow-up skills to maintain consumer/client relationships.</li><li>Actively listen to consumers.</li><li>Be familiar with applicable software, FDCPA laws, and state laws.</li><li>Sit and talk on the phone via a headset for extended periods.</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>1 year of experience in a call center handling debt collection.</li><li>Ability to work second shift.</li><li>Proven performance in calls, contracts, promises, payment overage, and all elements of bank and retail collections (preferred).</li><li>Ability to work independently from home in a quiet, uninterrupted environment.</li><li>Understanding of the negotiation process to obtain maximum possible payments.</li><li>Ability to take constructive criticism and strive for success.</li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Stellar attendance and punctuality are required.</li><li>Good tenure at previous jobs (2+ years in a relevant field).</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>Monday-Friday: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch</li><li>One Saturday every 4 weeks: 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM</li><li>Optional and mandatory overtime</li></ul>Training: Training will be remote and last approximately 3-4 weeksBenefits Package:<ul><li>Work from home with all equipment provided (internet access and office supplies not included).</li><li>Health, Life, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Vision, Dental, and Life Insurance Buy Up.</li><li>401(k) plan.</li><li>Employee Assistance Program.</li><li>Health Savings Account with employer match.</li><li>Opportunities for internal progression and promotion.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Disability insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Paid training</li><li>Vision insurance</li><li>Work from home</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
