Job Title: Construction Estimating Internee Company: G4S Digital Solutions Location: Lahore Duration: Internship (3 Months)Job Overview: G4S Digital Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Estimating Internee to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience in construction cost estimation, project analysis, and budgeting processes. The internee will work closely with senior estimators and project managers to support the preparation of accurate and competitive project bids.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist in preparing cost estimates for construction projects.</li><li>Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to understand scope requirements.</li><li>Perform quantity take-offs and support material cost analysis.</li><li>Collect and analyze data related to labor, materials, and equipment costs.</li><li>Support the preparation of tender documents and bid proposals.</li><li>Maintain and update cost databases and project records.</li><li>Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations.</li><li>Assist in evaluating project risks and cost variables.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.</li><li>Basic understanding of construction methods and materials.</li><li>Familiarity with estimation tools/software (e.g., MS Excel, AutoCAD, or similar).</li><li>Strong analytical and numerical skills.</li><li>Good communication and teamwork abilities.</li><li>Attention to detail and willingness to learn.</li></ul>Preferred Skills:<ul><li>Knowledge of quantity surveying principles.</li><li>Exposure to BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and tendering processes.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.</li></ul>What You Will Gain:<ul><li>Practical exposure to real-world construction estimation processes.</li><li>Mentorship from experienced professionals.</li><li>Opportunity to work on live projects.</li><li>Development of technical and professional skills in the construction industry.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Internship Contract length: 3 monthsPay: Rs14,999.00 - Rs15,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
