We are seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant to join our team.Responsibilities include:<ul><li>Rooming patients and preparing them for their visit</li><li>Prepping and organizing patient charts for clinic</li><li>Scheduling procedures and coordinating appointments</li><li>Referring patients to hospital departments and specialty clinics as needed</li><li>Assisting patients with care coordination</li><li>Educating patients about their health insurance plans</li><li>Traveling occasionally to satellite offices with the provider</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bilingual (required)</li><li>Strong organizational and communication skills</li><li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment</li><li>Willingness to travel as needed</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Free parking</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Medical Specialty:<ul><li>Gastroenterology</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>Medical Assistant: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>Spanish (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>BLS Certification (Preferred)</li><li>Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
