 We are seeking an experienced Asset Valuation/Appraisal Analyst to join a well-established organisation in Muscat, Oman, specialising in asset-backed financing and transportation (marine vessels, aircraft, and vehicles). This is a full-time, on-site position offering the opportunity to take ownership of the valuation process for a high-value, international portfolio of assets throughout their entire lifecycle.
 
 
 As Asset Valuation/Appraisal Analyst, you will deliver independent, robust and well-documented valuations that directly support financing, chartering, sales, insurance, legal and taxation requirements in a commercially focused and fast-moving environment.
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 <ul>
 
 <li>
 Perform detailed valuations of marine vessels, aircraft and specialist vehicles using market, income and cost approaches.
 </li>
 <li>
 Build and maintain discounted cash flow (DCF) models, comparable transaction analysis, market multiples and LTV monitoring frameworks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Continuously track asset values and Loan-to-Value (LTV) ratios over the life of each deal.
 </li>
 <li>
 Critically review and challenge valuation reports prepared by external appraisers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct in-depth market research: analyse broker reports, industry surveys (Clarksons, Fearnleys, ASCEND, IBA, etc.), transaction databases and economic indicators.
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish and manage relationships with leading appraisal firms in key shipping and aviation hubs to obtain official reports and market intelligence.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare clear, professional valuation reports and presentations for internal committees, lenders, insurers and regulators.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure full compliance with IFRS 13, IVS/RICS Red Book and other relevant valuation standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with deal teams, legal, insurance and finance colleagues to gather required data.
 </li>
 <li>
 Occasionally perform or accompany physical on-site inspections of assets (typically &lt;10% of time).
 </li>
 <li>
 Support ad-hoc valuation requests from senior management.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Requirements:
 
 <ul>
 
 <li>
 Minimum 3-7 years of direct valuation experience, with a strong focus on transportation assets (marine vessels and/or aircraft essential; vehicles a plus).
 </li>
 <li>
 Advanced financial modelling skills (DCF, sensitivity/scenario analysis, LTV waterfalls) in Excel; familiarity with valuation platforms or databases is highly desirable.
 </li>
 <li>
 Degree in Finance, Economics, Naval Architecture, Aeronautical Engineering, Shipping, Actuarial Science or related discipline. Relevant professional valuation qualifications (CVA, AVA, MRICS - Valuation, or similar) are a strong advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven ability to research and interpret shipping/aviation market data and transaction evidence.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent report-writing and presentation skills with exceptional attention to detail.
 </li>
 <li>
 Professional working proficiency in English (mandatory); fluency in French and/or Spanish is a significant advantage.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prior experience gained at a valuation/appraisal firm, ship-owner/operator, airline, leasing company, investment/corporate bank, Big-4 or insurance company is highly regarded.
 </li>

Valuation/Appraisal Analyst

 We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel/Corporate Lawyer to join a well-established group in Muscat, Oman, with significant operations and subsidiaries in marine, aviation, asset-financing and industrial investment sectors. This is a full-time, on-site position reporting directly to the Head of Legal.
 
 
 As Lawyer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting complex cross-border transactions, corporate governance and day-to-day legal risk management across the group's activities in Oman and internationally.
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 Transactional Support
 
 <ul>
 
 <li>
 Lead or support the structuring, drafting, review and negotiation of high-value transaction documents (financing agreements, charter parties, SPAs, shareholder agreements, joint ventures, etc.).
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate external counsel (Omani and international firms), negotiate engagement terms and manage deliverables.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify legal, regulatory and commercial risks in proposed transactions and recommend practical mitigation measures.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Corporate &amp; Governance
 
 <ul>
 
 <li>
 Act as Board Secretary: organise Board and shareholder meetings, draft minutes, resolutions and maintain statutory records.

 Incorporate and maintain project-specific SPVs (SAOC/LLC) in Oman and support overseas subsidiaries.

 Draft and update Board regulations, committee charters and internal policies.

 Serve as a voting member of the Risk Committee.

 General Legal &amp; Compliance

 Provide clear, commercial and timely legal advice to all business units on contracts, operations, regulatory changes and disputes.

 Monitor legislative and case-law developments in Oman and key overseas jurisdictions; prepare updates for management.
 </li>

 Review and approve legal invoices; ensure cost-effective use of external counsel.

 Support compliance, audit and due-diligence processes across the group.

 Requirements:

 LL.B / Bachelor of Laws from a recognised university; additional Master's (MBA, LLM or M.Sc.) is highly desirable.
 </li>
 <li>
 6-12 years of post-qualification corporate/commercial legal experience gained in a reputable law firm and/or in-house with a shipping, aviation, leasing or asset-finance group.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong technical skills in legal drafting, contract negotiation, corporate governance and transaction management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven experience incorporating and maintaining companies under Omani Commercial Companies Law; familiarity with SPVs is essential.
 </li>
 <li>
 Working knowledge of financing documentation (LMA/Islamic), marine/aviation contracts and cross-border structures.
 </li>

 Excellent legal research and advisory skills with impeccable attention to detail.

Senior Legal Counsel

 We are exclusively partnering with a well-established international group in Muscat, Oman, to recruit a French-speaking Legal Counsel to provide dedicated legal support to its fast-growing automotive leasing and financing operations across Francophone Africa.
 
 
 This is a full-time, on-site position based in Muscat, with regular coordination with operational teams and counterparties in West and Central Africa. The role offers genuine ownership and high visibility within a dynamic, commercially driven environment.
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 <ul>
 
 <li>
 Act as the primary in-house legal point of contact for the African automotive leasing business.
 </li>
 <li>
 Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of French and English-language contracts including installment-sale agreements, leasing contracts, pledge and security documents, distribution agreements and ancillary contracts.

 <li>
 Support vehicle repossession processes (amicable and judicial), including liaison with notaries, bailiffs and local courts in French-speaking African jurisdictions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct and supervise legal due diligence on African counterparties (verification of corporate status, signatory powers, litigation checks, licences, etc.).

 Coordinate with local external counsel and corporate service providers across multiple African jurisdictions.

 Requirements:

 4-8 years of relevant legal experience gained in-house (leasing/financial services preferred) or with a reputable law firm active in Francophone Africa.
 </li>
 <li>
 Native or fully fluent French (mandatory) with strong legal drafting skills in French.
 </li>
 <li>
 Professional working proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
 </li>
 <li>
 Solid understanding of secured lending, leasing contracts, vehicle repossession procedures and corporate law in at least two Francophone African countries.
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands-on experience with OHADA Uniform Acts (particularly securities, companies and debt recovery) is highly desirable.

 Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
