</div><div><ul><li>The incumbent in this role acts as a project in-charge of quality for a project site with the scope less than INR 1500 crore and drives day-to-day activities with a focus on process optimisation, creating the right design mix and getting necessary approvals on time.</li>
<li>They are responsible for quality assurance at a project level using techniques that are compliant, cost-effective, best practices in the industry and ensure adherence to the set quality standards both by the client and GRIL team.
</li><li>They also need to focus on collaborating with the plants &amp; equipment, planning and operations team to drive quality targets (quality laboratory management with quality certifications and timely calibration of equipment) across GRIL.
</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Key Responsibilities</b></h2>
</div><div><ul><li><b>Quality Framework and Operations</b> &ndash; Ensure implementation of apex quality procedures and inspection standards. Guide the team to adhere to established processes while handling supplier base for material requirements from a mid and long term perspective. Ensure suitable audits are conducted for new supplier selection. Finalise the design mix of materials while ensuring set quality standards.</li>
<li><b>Quality certifications, compliance and audits</b> &ndash; Ensure adherence to established process for review of warranty claims and rejections with the aim to realize cost benefits. Guide team to design and implement suitable counter-measures to deal with quality related issues. Propose improved guidelines for handling of rejection through the use of analytical techniques. Ensure adoption &amp; adherence to the quality guidelines. Guide the team in translating the feedback from the clients/consultants into actions to other delivery functions and departments to prevent recurrence of quality issues. Implement best practices in the quality audit and inspection methodologies. Manage lab operations, certification / calibration of equipment and maintenance of lab records.</li>
<li><b>Client Management</b> &ndash; Coordinating with the client and consultants and resolving their issues with respect to non-conformance and conformance reports.</li>
<li><b>MIS and Reporting</b> &ndash; Review and submit the MPR for all the quality related issues and share the same with the relevant stakeholders. Capture accurate data about the performance of the suppliers as per the defined quality framework and work with operations team to filter the best material suppliers.</li>
<li><b>People Management</b> &ndash; Ensure the capability development for the division through performance management, training, and mentoring of teams to drive high performance and engagement and enable achievement of current and future business needs.</li>

</div><div><ul><li>Graduate in (B.E./ B.Tech) Civil Engineering, preferably Post Graduation in Management/ Construction/ Transportation/ Highway Engineering/ Structural Engineering or equivalent specialized stream of Civil engineering.</li>
<li>Min 10 yrs. of experience in supervision of road projects, rail, metro high speed rail project.</li></ul></div></div></div></div>

The incumbent of this role is accountable for the completion of the specific section of the Substation of PT &amp; D project. The purpose of this role is to act as a Section Incharge and drive the optimization of resources to ensure smooth &amp; timely execution of all the activities within quality and safety standards. The role holder needs to ensure efficient utilisation of people, material, and machinery as well as adherence to the set standards of GRIL, while facilitating subcontractors on project execution.</p>

Key Responsibilities</b></h2>
</div><div><ul><li>Create an activity schedule for their section team to successfully complete the specific section of the project Substation unit, estimate resource requirements on a monthly basis (manpower, equipment etc.) and their allocation to the identified activities.</li>
<li>Manage project staff according to the established policies and procedures. Ensure quality delivery by taking support of qualified consultants.</li>
<li>Manage and facilitate subcontractors involved in the project execution. Assign and check the tasks of the subordinate technical staff. Support managers in managing material stocking, and labour in the production process.</li>
<li>Monitor progress of the section and identify any deviations from schedule.
</li><li>Ensure deliverables are on time and at the required level of quality and safety.</li>
<li>Review the project schedule with the concerned authorities and the senior management through an RFI and daily progress. Raise the requisition for the material requirement periodically.</li>
<li>Create a buy-in with the client and relevant authorities to obtain necessary approvals.
</li><li>Apprise the Project Head and Director&ndash;Operations (on a need-to-know basis) of the progress of the project. Request support from relevant stakeholders to obtain necessary inputs.
</li><li>Resolve any issues related to the specific section and ensure accurate and timely reporting.</li>
<li>Ensure all project information, including cash flow, is properly documented, and secured and reported.</li>
<li>Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders, including senior management, on the progress of the project.
