 <div>Job Summary: 
 
We are seeking a skilled Welder II/Fabricator to join our team at G.W. Becker, Inc. (GWBI). The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating raw materials and components to create assemblies and crane parts. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
 
<ul><li>Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols</li></ul> 
<ul><li>Weld metal components in various positions</li></ul> 
<ul><li>Lay out, position, and secure parts and assemblies</li></ul> 
<ul><li>Finish surfaces of material products and re-touch welds</li></ul> 
<ul><li>Examine finished work pieces for quality and defects</li></ul> 
<ul><li>Operate hand and power tools, including welding equipment</li></ul> 
<ul><li>Handle materials using forklifts and overhead cranes</li></ul> 
<ul><li>Maintain a clean and safe work area</li></ul> 

Requirements: 
 
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li></ul> 
<ul><li>2-5 years of related experience or training</li></ul> 
<ul><li>3G and 4G FCAW welding certificate</li></ul> 
<ul><li>Valid driver's license and safe driving record</li></ul> 
<ul><li>Prior overhead crane experience preferred</li></ul> 
<ul><li>Strong understanding of welding equipment and accessories</li></ul> 
<ul><li>Flux Core Experience</li></ul> 
<ul><li>Automated Sub Arc Welding</li></ul> 

Physical Demands: 
 
<ul><li>Frequently stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel</li></ul> 
<ul><li>Occasionally sit, climb, or balance</li></ul> 
<ul><li>Lift and move up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds regularly, and 25 pounds frequently</li></ul>
