Job DescriptionWe are an award-winning full-service Design-Build firm located in Manhattan specializing in luxury renovations of co-ops, condos, and townhomes throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. We are seeking a candidate for a project coordination/design assistant role to join our growing team in a high functioning and fun company environment. If you are someone who thrives on attention to detail with an administrative background and an interest in design, then this could be the perfect job for you.Job Responsibilities (Including but not limited to)<ul><li>Provide exceptional customer service and serve as the primary point of contact for our clients</li><li>Serve as a liaison between our internal team, clients, building management, vendors, sub-contractors, etc.</li><li>Coordinate project approvals (both DOB &amp; building management/condo boards)</li><li>Purchase requests</li><li>Scheduling</li><li>Data Entry/Document Control</li><li>Answering phones (reception)</li><li>Take meeting minutes both in the office and on the job site</li><li>Provide support for the design team:</li><li>Gather samples</li><li>Coordinate &amp; attend meetings</li><li>Product research</li><li>2D drawings &amp; elevations in AutoCAD</li><li>Additional assistance as requested</li></ul>Desired Experience/Knowledge<ul><li>2+ years working for a design/build firm or other construction related firm</li><li>2+ years Office Admin experience</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD</li><li>Background in interior design</li><li>Prior experience in property management with a focus on co-op and condo buildings in NYC is not mandatory but a huge plus</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Impeccable customer service</li><li>Proficiency in the G-Suite &amp; Microsoft Office</li><li>Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat</li><li>Strong organizational skills and an ability to self motivate are key</li><li>Detail oriented and ability to thrive in a fast pace environment</li><li>Independent problem solver</li><li>Operate with a natural emphasis on being a team player</li><li>Cultural fit (we want everyone to genuinely like the people we choose to spend 8 hours/day with)</li></ul>BenefitsEmployees may join the company benefit plan of which a variety of health benefits are available: Such as but not limited to Health, Dental, and Vision.Please submit a cover letter and resume in PDF format for consideration.
