About the RoleGAMA is seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Graphic Designer &amp; Web Administrator to support the organization&rsquo;s visual communications and digital presence. This role is responsible for creating high-quality design assets across print and digital platforms while maintaining and optimizing GAMA&rsquo;s websites.The ideal candidate brings strong visual storytelling skills, a solid understanding of branding, and hands-on experience managing WordPress websites. This position works closely with the Marketing &amp; Communications Director and collaborates across teams to support events, programs, and member initiatives.GAMA is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. This position is open to U.S.-based remote candidates. Candidates located in the Columbus area are expected to work in-office 3 days per week.This role requires on-site participation at GAMA Expo (Baltimore, MD) and Origins Game Fair (Columbus, OH).Key ResponsibilitiesGraphic Design<ul><li>Develop creative concepts and execute designs from initial concept through final production, ensuring alignment with GAMA&rsquo;s brand standards</li><li>Design engaging visual assets for both digital and print, including event programs, marketing campaigns, social media graphics, reports, and promotional materials</li><li>Maintain and strengthen brand consistency across all organizational communications</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to support events, education programs, and member initiatives</li><li>Prepare and deliver production-ready files for print and digital distribution</li><li>Coordinate production of event materials, including sponsorship graphics and wayfinding signage, working with vendors and internal stakeholders</li></ul>Web Management<ul><li>Manage and update content across GAMA&rsquo;s websites (including GAMA.org and OriginsGameFair.com)</li><li>Build and maintain landing pages to support events, programs, and campaigns</li><li>Ensure websites are optimized for usability, accessibility, and responsiveness across devices</li><li>Monitor site performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with external vendors as needed</li><li>Implement SEO best practices to improve visibility and engagement</li><li>Track and report on website analytics, providing insights to inform content and user experience improvements</li></ul>Additional Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide design and digital support to Member Services, Events, and Administrative teams as needed</li><li>Contribute to cross-functional projects in a collaborative, mission-driven environment</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>2&ndash;3 years of professional experience in graphic design, web management, or a related role</li><li>Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar tools</li><li>Experience working with content management systems, preferably WordPress</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines</li><li>Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a remote or hybrid environment</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Experience working with nonprofits, associations, or membership-based organizations</li><li>Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp)</li><li>Working knowledge of SEO principles and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)</li><li>Understanding of UX/UI best practices</li><li>Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS</li><li>Experience or interest in the tabletop gaming industry</li><li>Video editing or motion graphics experience</li></ul>BenefitsWe are committed to supporting our team with meaningful benefits that promote well-being and work-life balance:<ul><li>Two weeks of paid vacation annually (increasing with tenure)</li><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance</li><li>SIMPLE IRA retirement plan with 3% employer match</li><li>12 paid holidays per year</li></ul>How to ApplyTo apply, please submit:<ul><li>Resume</li><li>Cover letter</li><li>A link to your online portfolio (demonstrating a range of digital and print work)</li><li>Links to one or more WordPress websites you have managed</li></ul>Send materials to Media@GAMA.org with thesubject line: Application for Graphic Designer &amp; Web AdministratorOur Commitment to Creative IntegrityGAMA prioritizes original, human-created design work to maintain authenticity and creative integrity.
