Part Time| Evenings or Nights| 2:30pm- 11:00pm or 10:30pm-7:00am| every other weekend and holiday rotation

Rates starting at $17.00/hr, plus shift differentials of $2.00 for evenings, $1.50 for nights and an ADDITIONAL $1 for weekends. PLUS once you complete the med tech program you receive an additional $1.50!

At Frederick Living, the Memory Support Medication Technician Nurse Aide provides medication administration and supportive care to residents in Aspen. This role encourages independence, ensures resident safety, and supports person-centered care practices.

What You&rsquo;ll Do
<ul>
<li>Act as a collaborative team member within the neighborhood</li>
<li>Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and resident deaths</li>
<li>Maintain resident records daily, including weights, vital signs, and other required documentation</li>
<li>Administer medications according to procedures and physicians&rsquo; orders</li>
<li>Provide redirection and de-escalation techniques for residents with cognitive impairments</li>
<li>Assist residents or families who use external pharmacies</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents</li>
<li>Respond promptly and positively to resident requests, including telephone calls and requests from family, visitors, or staff</li>
<li>Perform all Personal Care Aide duties</li>
<li>Monitor resident location and notify the Charge Nurse or Manager immediately if a resident cannot be located</li>
<li>Follow proper emergency procedures and obtain additional personnel when necessary</li>
<li>Answer resident emergencies promptly</li>
<li>Assist with collecting specimens as needed</li>
<li>Work all assigned tours of duty</li>
<li>Maintain CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications</li>
<li>Abide by the organization&rsquo;s code of conduct</li>
<li>Perform other related duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
What We&rsquo;re Looking For
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED required</li>
<li>Medication Administration certification required</li>
<li>Minimum of 6 hours of dementia education annually</li>
<li>Prior experience caring for older adults with cognitive impairments preferred</li>
<li>Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and comprehension in English</li>
<li>Ability to maintain resident and staff confidentiality</li>
<li>Demonstrates respect, integrity, compassion, and excellence</li>
<li>Commitment to person-centered care practices</li>
<li>Team-oriented with flexibility and adaptability</li>
<li>Flexible schedule with willingness to work extra hours as needed</li>
