<div>As a member of Garver's Buildings Team, the <b>Structural Designer</b> will support structural designs and documentation for various projects within the <b>Buildings Business Line</b>. Responsibilities include structural analysis, design, detailing, and construction administration for multiple structural systems, including:</div>
<ul><li>Structural Steel</li>
<li>Reinforced Concrete</li>
<li>Cold-Formed Steel</li>
<li>Reinforced masonry</li>
<li>Structural Wood</li>
</ul><div><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></div>
<ul><li>Conduct structural analysis, design, and detailing.</li>
<li>Perform construction administration, including reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, conducting site observations, and preparing reports.</li>
<li>Utilize BIM design software to produce structural drawings.</li>
<li>Coordinate with other disciplines.</li>
<li>Assist project managers and follow QA/QC plans.</li>
<li>Manage multiple assignments concurrently.</li>
<li>Continue education and learning based on project and team needs.</li>
<li>Mentor and train less experienced staff.</li>
<li>Assign and coordinate tasks with engineers-in-training and BIM professionals.</li>
<li>Collaborate with architects and contractors.</li>
</ul><div><b>Requirements</b></div>
<ul><li>Strong understanding of structural engineering principles.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of structural engineering principles.</li>
<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Self-motivated and a good team player.</li>
</ul><div><b>Preferred Requirements and Skills</b></div>
<ul><li>Proficient with Bentley RAM Structural System and RAM Elements.</li>
<li>Experience with Autodesk Revit and Construction Cloud.</li>
<li>Proficiency with MS Office Suite.</li>
<li>Experience with AIA MasterSpec.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of US building codes and structural design standards.</li>
