Gastonia ABC SystemJob Description for Sales Associate Performs tasks assigned by and under supervision of Store Manager to include the following primary and any other responsibilities warranted to ensure a functional and efficient operation.<ul><li>Effectively communicate with customers regarding products sold by local ABC stores.</li><li>Cooperate with other Associates to enhance team work and efficient operation of assigned store.</li><li>Operate cash registers consistent with established procedures.</li><li>Complete all necessary register closing documents to ensure daily balancing of sales and report same to Management.</li><li>Be aware of NC ABC statutes regarding the sale of distilled spirits, as well as ABC Board policies, and other relevant policies and procedures.</li><li>Assist in daily cleaning and stocking of store to include vacuuming, dusting products and shelves, picking up trash in parking lot, and bathroom.</li><li>Present a positive image to Associates and customers through appropriate dress code standards.</li><li>Assist with receiving and stocking of inventory from warehouse.</li><li>Resolve customer complaints or inquiries or refer them to appropriate person for resolution.</li><li>Maintain daily time cards consistent with Gastonia ABC and Wage and Hour directives for accurate and timely reporting.</li><li>Adhere to assigned work schedule and notify responsible person when changes need to be made or time off is needed.</li><li>Assist in taking store inventories on a quarterly basis by providing accurate counts.</li><li>Be aware of security or safety issues and report to responsible person for resolution.</li><li>Communicate all relevant personal information such as phone number, address, contacts, to General Office to ensure personal records are current.</li><li>Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Shift:<ul><li>Day shift</li><li>Night shift</li></ul>Shift availability:<ul><li>Night Shift (Required)</li><li>Day Shift (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
