<b>Teacher Aide - Library Aide</b></div><div>
This is an aide position in which the incumbent directly assists the teaching staff of a school district with various academic/classroom/student related activities. This position differs from school aide in that the focus of this position is on assisting teachers with classroom-related activities such as grading papers, proctoring exams, and securing resource materials rather than clerical and monitoring tasks. Employees of this class do not assist in the development of instructional materials or give instruction. Head Custodian - Civil Service Competitive Position<br>

This is a supervisory custodial/maintenance position responsible for the efficient and economical cleaning and maintenance of school buildings or other types of facilities. In smaller school districts, work also involves the maintenance of grounds and athletic fields. The employee reports directly to, and works under the general supervision of a higher level staff member with considerable leeway allowed for the exercise of independent judgment in keeping buildings and equipment up to approved standards of cleanliness and operation. General supervision is exercised over lower level staff such as Cleaners, Laborers, and Custodians. Does related work as required.<br>

This is a labor position involving performance of cleaning duties in the upkeep of building interiors, furniture, and fixtures for a department, agency, hospital or school. The work involves following simple routines and procedures in accomplishing tasks. This position is distinguished from entry level custodial positions by absence of plumbing and carpentry.
