TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: </b><b>: </b>Requires prolonger standing, walking, stooping, bending, lifting etc. Occasional sitting. May require moving up to 50 pounds.
</div></div><div><div><b>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</b></div></div><ul><li><div>
Serves as courier to neighborhood centers or other agencies.</div></li><li><div>
Perform the delivery tasks and pick-up of material in a polite, resourceful and professional manner.</div></li><li><div>
Load and unload a Center vehicle through a variety of mechanisms.</div></li><li><div>
Coordinate of incoming and outgoing interoffice mail.</div></li><li><div>
Communicate with clinics through a mobile device.</div></li><li><div>
Operate vehicle for the delivery of interoffice mail, supplies, products and materials.</div></li><li><div>
Maintain the commitment of delivering and picking up documents/materials along with providing exceptional customer service
</div></li><li><div>Accountable for timely sensitive information to be delivered to center or other agencies in a timely manner.</div></li></ul><div><div><b>
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:</b></div></div><p>
</p><ul><li><div>Receives and logs in all merchandise received.</div></li><li><div>
Verifies merchandise received against purchase order and reports discrepancies to the purchasing clerk.</div></li><li><div>
Maintains inventory in central supply room and price out merchandise.</div></li><li><div>
Assist medical staff in ordering supplies for central supply room.</div></li><li><div>
Arranges for delivery of merchandise ordered by department and site.</div></li><li><div>
Notifies the Fiscal Office when merchandise/equipment needs to be tagged for inventory.</div></li><li><div>
Assists with monthly/yearly inventory of supplies and equipment.</div></li><li><div>
Responsible for return shipments.</div></li><li><div>
Performs other duties as assigned.</div></li></ul><div><div><b>
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</b></div></div><ul><li><div>
High school diploma or G.E.D.
</div></li><li><div>Must have current Texas driver&rsquo;s license in good standing.</div></li><li><div>
Two-year college, business or technical school plus two years&rsquo; experience in this field preferred.</div></li><li><div>
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.</div></li></ul><div><div><b>
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</b></div></div><ul><li><div>
Working knowledge of acceptable office procedures and bookkeeping.</div></li><li><div>
Ability to perform numerical detail work with speed and accuracy.</div></li><li><div>
Must have initiative and work well alone and under supervision.</div></li><li><div>
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.</div></li></ul></div>
