Gateway Rehab is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Business Development department and Special Case Evaluations. This role provides administrative support while delivering exceptional customer service to referral sources to help build and maintain strong relationships. To be considered for the position, you must live within the Pittsburgh, PA area or surrounding counties.
Responsibilities<ul><li>
Facilitates completion and submission of FMLA/STD paperwork.</li><li>
Provides customer service and system navigation to referral sources as needed.</li><li>
Tracks referral source information and trends for reporting.</li><li>
Collaborates with Gateway Marketing/Outreach and Special Case teams.</li><li>
Assists patients in planning and scheduling initial and continuing care appointments.</li><li>
Works with patients to coordinate return to work and related paperwork prior to discharge.</li><li>
Schedules appointments in the EHR.</li><li>
Completes documentation in patient charts as needed.</li><li>
Develops and maintains referral source data in EHR.
</li><li>Attends Gateway mandatory trainings and in-services.</li></ul>
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities<ul><li>
Computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required.</li><li>
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.</li><li>
Excellent people skills and organizational skills.</li></ul>
Requirements:
<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>
Customer Service/Business Development experience required.</li></ul>
Preferred Requirements<ul><li>
Associate's degree.</li></ul>
Additional Requirements<ul><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license with favorable driving record.</li><li>
Obtain CPR and First Aid certification.</li><li>
Pass PA Criminal Background Check.</li><li>
Obtain Childline and FBI clearances.</li><li>

Business Development Administrative Assistant - REMOTE

<div>Description:

Gateway Rehab Center (GRC) has an opening for an Administrative Support Coordinator who provides administrative and operational support to the outpatient programming at our Brentwood, PA location. This position reports to an Outpatient Manager.
Responsibilities<ul><li>
Processes patient evaluations, admissions, and discharges in Electronic Health Records.
</li><li>Assists in scheduling individuals for services with Electronic Health Records.</li><li>
Greet visitors and patients and notify staff as people arrive for appointments.</li><li>
Completes word processing, data entry, and filing duties.</li><li>
Trains new administrative staff in office procedure and electronic medical record use.</li><li>
Monitors patient liability and payment rate, including tracking patient liability, reminding patients, and referring nonpaying patients to site manager. Also, accepts patient liability payments and makes bank deposits.
</li><li>Coordinates and processes patient drug screening.</li><li>
Answer multi-line phone in a professional and pleasant manner, screen, and correctly direct calls to the appropriate staff.</li><li>
Answer visitor inquiries and provide basic information as to services and programming.</li><li>
Perform clerical duties as needed.</li><li>
Audits patient charts, including admissions and discharges.</li><li>
Supports operations of doctor/nurse day, including scheduling appointments, authorization and ordering of patient medication, and communication with pharmacies.</li><li>
Orders supplies needed for office operations.</li><li>
Ensures office equipment is functional and take responsibility for smooth functioning of office.</li><li>
Generates and responds to correspondence.</li><li>
Maintain neat and organized appearance of the lobby and front desk area.</li><li>
Supports site medical records, including maintaining patient records and finalizing patient record after discharge.</li><li>
Attends site and operations meetings as needed.</li><li>
Performs related duties as needed.</li></ul>
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities<ul><li>
Strong communication and organizational skills
</li><li>Solid computer proficiency and experience
</li></ul>Requirements:
<ul><li>High School diploma or GED.</li></ul>
Preferred Requirements<ul><li>
Post high school, business or professional school graduate.
