Gateway Rehab Center (GRC) is looking for a PRN LPN or RN for our Center Township, PA location. Schedule will vary. Our nurses provide direct patient nursing care which includes administering medication and carrying out therapeutic treatments.

Responsibilities<ul><li>
Administers medications.</li><li>
Carries out prescribed therapeutic treatments.</li><li>
Documents nursing observations and patient care rendered.</li><li>
Participates in the planning, implementing, and evaluating of nursing care.</li><li>
Intervenes in crises and other emergency situations and provides admission phone triage.</li><li>
Coordinates with all GRC departments as appropriate.</li><li>
Provides patient health education.</li><li>
Completes employee health duties.</li><li>
Intervenes in crises for all GRC departments during off hours.</li></ul>
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities<ul><li>
Must be skilled and physically able to perform necessary medical interventions when needed.</li><li>
Must demonstrate good judgement, decision making and leadership skills necessary to take responsibility for nursing-related patient care.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
</h3>
Requirements:
<ul><li>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.</li><li>
Current state licensure as a registered or practical nurse.</li><li>
CPR Certification</li></ul>
Preferred Requirements:<ul><li>
Two years&rsquo; experience in nursing field preferred.</li></ul>
Additional Requirements:<ul><li>
PA Criminal Background Check.</li><li>
Obtain PA Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprinting Clearances.</li><li>
Pass Drug Screen.</li><li>
2 Step TB Test.
</li><li>CPR Certification.</li></ul>
Work Conditions:<ul><li>
Extended care facility treating those with substance use disorders.</li></ul>
