What you will do: 
Under the supervision of the Electric Shop Supervisor, tests, inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, installs and wires all electrical devices and circuits in the plant. Test, dismantle, repair, and assess any electrical motor. Install cable, conduit, fittings, fixtures, wiring and make connections for new or replacement facilities.
 <ul>
<li>To assign daily work, and projects to Electrical Department personal.</li>
<li>To represent the Electric Department at the daily maintenance meeting.</li>
<li>To represent the Electric Department at the daily operational closeout meeting.</li>
<li>To represent the Electric Department at the weekly maintenance planning meeting.</li>
<li>To check and sign the Electric Department time cards.</li>
<li>To check and sign the Electric Department workplace inspection forms and create work orders for all noted safety situations.</li>
<li>To check all completed work orders.</li>
<li>Maintains and troubleshoot opacity, emission, and process monitors.</li>
<li>Inspect/test any equipment/apparatus to determine the extent of damage/location/nature of repairs needed.</li>
<li>Dismantles inspects, repairs, replaces, or adjusts faulty parts and wiring on electrical equipment used in shops or plants.</li>
<li>Reassembles, tests, adjusts, insulates, and paints electrical apparatus as required including mechanical equipment if feasible.</li>
<li>Will work where and when needed as directed by plant supervisory personnel to meet plant needs.</li>
<li>Install new equipment or distribution lines.</li>
<li>Will maintain a safe working environment, electrical safety, adherence to safety policies and practices, daily housekeeping of assigned area, perform daily workplace inspections (look for missing/burned out lights, open conduits/conduits, broken conduits, air leaks, oil leaks), adhere to plant storeroom policy (parts issues/returns in a timely manner), and use and care for plant radios properly.</li>
<li>Be familiar with MSHA safety rules, safety procedures for plant mobile equipment, lockout/Tagout policy, confined space permit policy, hot work policy, emergency response plan, arc flash/shock and burn protection, proper containment and disposal process (via Waste Management Plan) for lubricants, paints/solvents and other environmentally sensitive materials.</li>
<li>Ensure quality of work performed, continuous improvement system, observe and promote best practices, good time management and be able to troubleshoot/analyze root cause failure.</li>
<li>Will work where and when needed as directed by plant supervisory personnel to meet plant needs.</li>
</ul>
Experience and abilities you will need: 
<ul>
<li>Graduate of vocational school with emphasis on basic electricity and electronics -or- equipment training in military service schools.</li>
<li>Minimum of four years of on-the-job training.</li>
<li>Basic mechanical aptitude.</li>
<li>High school graduate -or- equivalent.</li>
<li>Good physical condition as position may require bending, kneeling, walking, standing, climbing, stairs and lifting; high degree of manual dexterity and coordination and good eye/hand coordination.</li>

Industrial Electrician

What you will do: 
Under the supervision of the shipping department supervisor, operate bulk truck loading facility to load cement in customers’ trucks and weigh incoming coal trucks.
 
<ul>
<li>Load bulk trucks per instruction from truck driver.</li>
<li>Weigh bulk trucks and process weight tickets and bills of lading.</li>
<li>Weigh incoming coal trucks, if needed.</li>
<li>Obtain mill analysis for customer from quality control when required by customer.</li>
<li>Transfer cement from main storage silo to loadouts.</li>
<li>Maintain storage silo to full level.</li>
<li>Perform operational maintenance on air compressors, dust collectors, pumps, etc.</li>
<li>Utilize computer.</li>
<li>Will maintain a safe working environment, adhere to safety policies and practices, perform daily housekeeping of assigned area, perform daily workplace inspections, adhere to plant policies and proper use of plant radios.</li>

<li>Basic mechanical skills.</li>
<li>Basic computer skills</li>
<li>Good physical condition as position may require bending, kneeling, walking, standing, climbing, stairs and lifting; high degree of manual dexterity and coordination and good eye/hand coordination.</li>
