Phonics Instructor &amp; School Psychologist (Dual Role)GD Goenka Public School, Hapur Rd, kaili, Uttar Pradesh (On-site)About the RoleAt GD Goenka Hapur Rd, we are redefining what education can feel like bringing standards of learning, care, and culture to every child.We are looking for a dynamic, empathetic, and highly skilled professional who can play a dual role as both Phonics Instructor and School Psychologist &mdash; someone who nurtures clear speech, confident communication, and emotional well-being in our youngest Goenkans.This is a full-time on-campus role requiring warmth, patience, and excellence in both early literacy and student psychology.Key Responsibilities&middot; Phonics Instruction (Pre-Primary to Grade II):&middot; Deliver daily phonics-based literacy sessions with energy and structure.&middot; Strengthen sound recognition, articulation, and reading fluency.&middot; Conduct one-on-one or small-group interventions for pronunciation and reading readiness.&middot; Collaborate with class teachers to integrate phonics into classroom learning.&middot; Track student progress through weekly reports and individual sound mastery sheets.&middot; Student Wellbeing &amp; Psychology:&middot; Observe classrooms and identify behavioural or emotional needs.&middot; Conduct student counselling sessions and maintain confidential case notes.&middot; Guide teachers in classroom behaviour management strategies.&middot; Conduct short &ldquo;Happiness Circles&rdquo; and parent workshops on emotional growth.&middot; Coordinate with the Principal, Class Teachers, and Infirmary for student wellbeing.Qualifications &amp; Skills&middot; Graduate/Postgraduate in Psychology, Child Development, or Education.&middot; Professional training or certification in Phonics preferred.&middot; Minimum 2&ndash;3 years of school experience in early years or counselling roles.&middot; Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written).&middot; Warm, empathetic demeanour with high professional ethics.&middot; Ability to handle children with patience and positivity.What We Offer&middot; A nurturing, forward-thinking work culture aligned with The Goenkan Charter.&middot; Structured training, mentoring, and performance-based recognition.&middot; Opportunity to lead emotional wellness and communication programs for students.Join UsIf you believe education is both art and empathy &mdash; and you wish to shape confident readers with balanced minds &mdash; we invite you to be part of our journey.Apply with your CV and a brief note on &ldquo;How I help children find their voice &mdash; in words and in spirit.&rdquo; Location: GD Goenka Public School, Hapur Rd www.gdgoenkahapur.comJob Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;18,000.00 - &#8377;25,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
