Role OverviewWe are looking for a qualified and experienced School Nurse who has prior experience working in CBSE schools. The candidate must be able to provide first-aid care, maintain student health records, assist during medical emergencies, and support the school&rsquo;s health and safety guidelines as per CBSE norms.2. Key Responsibilities Student Health &amp; Emergency Care<ul><li>Provide first-aid treatment to students and staff during injuries, illness, and emergencies.</li><li>Monitor students with chronic conditions or special medical needs.</li><li>Handle medical emergencies calmly and efficiently, ensuring immediate attention.</li></ul>Record Keeping &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Maintain updated health records of all students as per CBSE requirements.</li><li>Monitor vaccination records, medical forms, and health status reports.</li><li>Prepare periodic health reports for school management.</li></ul>Health &amp; Safety Compliance<ul><li>Ensure the school infirmary is clean, equipped, and well-maintained at all times.</li><li>Maintain stock of medicines, first-aid supplies, and equipment.</li><li>Follow hygiene and infection-control protocols mandated under CBSE guidelines.</li><li>Support school safety committees during audits, inspections, and emergency drills.</li></ul>Coordination &amp; Communication<ul><li>Coordinate with parents regarding health concerns or emergencies.</li><li>Assist teachers and staff in handling students with health issues.</li><li>Provide guidance to students on basic hygiene, wellness, and health practices.</li></ul>3. Required Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>GNM / B.Sc Nursing (mandatory)</li><li>Minimum 1&ndash;3 years of experience as a nurse preferably in a CBSE school setting</li><li>Knowledge of school health protocols, first-aid, and emergency response</li><li>Strong communication and documentation skills</li><li>Ability to manage students with care, patience, and professionalism</li></ul>4.
