Physical Therapist &ndash; Oncology Rehabilitation (Baton Rouge/Covington)About Geaux FightGeaux Fight is one of the only outpatient oncology-focused rehabilitation clinics in the region, and we offer a rare opportunity to build advanced specialty skills while making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals navigating cancer treatment, recovery, and survivorship.We are currently seeking a compassionate, motivated therapist to help grow our Baton Rouge presence, with initial training and mentorship provided in our Covington clinic.Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide individualized rehabilitation services for patients experiencing physical challenges related to cancer treatment, surgery, radiation, and survivorship.</li><li>Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on thorough evaluation and evidence-based care.</li><li>Participate in specialty services including oncology rehabilitation, lymphedema management, and pelvic floor rehabilitation (training available).</li><li>Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.</li><li>Build strong therapeutic relationships through compassionate, patient-centered communication.</li><li>Contribute to program development as Geaux Fight expands specialty services into Baton Rouge.</li><li>Engage in ongoing continuing education and specialty skill development.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Doctorate or Master&rsquo;s degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy.</li><li>Current Louisiana licensure (or eligibility for licensure).</li><li>Interest in oncology rehabilitation, lymphedema, pelvic health, or specialty outpatient care.</li><li>Specialty certifications are welcomed but not required; willingness to pursue advanced training is highly valued.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.</li><li>Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care.</li></ul>Why Geaux Fight<ul><li>Specialty mentorship and advanced training</li><li>Opportunity to help build a unique Baton Rouge clinic</li><li>Meaningful, mission-driven work</li><li>Supportive team culture</li><li>Opportunity to grow into advanced specialty practice</li></ul>If you are passionate about helping people regain strength, function, and confidence during and after cancer treatment, we would love to hear from you.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRNBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
