Job Summary:The Breakdown Maintenance Technician/Engineer is responsible for responding promptly to machinery and equipment failures, diagnosing problems, and performing repairs to minimize production downtime. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, quick decision-making, and effective collaboration with the production team to restore equipment functionality efficiently.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Respond immediately to breakdown calls and troubleshoot machinery and equipment failures.</li><li>Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues causing equipment downtime.</li><li>Perform repairs, replacements, and adjustments to restore equipment to operational condition.</li><li>Collaborate closely with production and maintenance teams to understand and address recurring issues.</li><li>Maintain detailed records of breakdowns, repairs, parts used, and downtime to assist in analysis and reporting.</li><li>Suggest improvements to prevent frequent breakdowns and improve equipment reliability.</li><li>Support preventive maintenance activities by providing feedback on equipment condition.</li><li>Ensure all repair work is carried out safely, complying with company and regulatory safety standards.</li><li>Coordinate with external vendors or service providers for specialized repairs if necessary.</li><li>Assist in training junior technicians or operators on basic troubleshooting and repair techniques.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.</li><li>Experience in breakdown maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial setting.</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and wiring diagrams.</li><li>Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.</li><li>Knowledge of safety practices and procedures in maintenance work.</li><li>Effective communication and teamwork skills.</li></ul>Skills:<ul><li>Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment.</li><li>Skilled in use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.</li><li>Ability to work quickly and efficiently to reduce downtime.</li><li>Basic computer skills for logging and reporting breakdowns.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, FresherPay: &#8377;15,000.00 - &#8377;20,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
