We are in search of candidates who are looking for long-term, secure and rewarding employment.Essential Duties:<ul><li>Follow safety rules and expectations and use safe work practices.</li><li>Utilize/interpret blueprints/engineering drawings for setup, welding, and inspection of parts to ensure customer specifications are met.</li><li>Understand layout and planned sequence of operations.</li><li>Verify conformance of work piece to specifications and quality standards.</li><li>Prepare surfaces to be welded and set up and assemble parts to be welded.</li><li>Set up proper equipment for different welding jobs.</li><li>Capable of passing AWS certification for MIG and or TIG Welding.</li><li>Able to use conventional and precision measuring instruments.</li><li>Welder / Fabricators will also perform routine PM&rsquo;s on the equipment and maintain a safe and orderly workplace.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>MUST be Safety and Quality conscious</li><li>MUST be able to be certified to AWS D1.1 welding standard, at a minimum.</li><li>MUST be able to setup and MIG weld (TIG a PLUS) a variety of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.</li><li>Ability to setup jobs from blueprints</li><li>Math abilities to solve problems and perform inspection</li><li>High School Diploma or GED, PLUS 2 years welding fabrication experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. We are searching for an Estimator who will be responsible for preparing metal fabrication quotations by analyzing customer requirements, technical drawings and associated specifications. Understanding current (and evolving) capabilities, they will develop bills of material and routings with internal and external supply partners and support implementation of new programs. The Estimator works closely with Sales, Engineering and Operations to support our customers.
