The Opportunity
As a Manufacturing Associate Technician, you will work within a team to produce and deliver quality products for patients around the world. We are a 24/7 site and the work load is divided across multiple organizations. Technicians are expected to work in a safe manner and follow our Standard Operating Procedures at all times. Doing these two critical aspects of our job helps us maintain our right to operate and commitment to governing bodies around the world.
Our Manufacturing begins in Upstream Cell Culture, where we thaw and scale up our process. Some of the responsibilities include preparing the medium needed for cell growth, monitoring cell cultures, and assembly/disassembly of single use and/or stainless steel bioreactors.
Subsequent to the cell culture phase is a series of operations to isolate, purify, and formulate the medicines. This includes activities such as preparation of buffers, cleaning and sterilization of equipment, operation of chromatography processes, and assembly and operation of single use equipment.
You are someone who wants to influence your own development and can work independently, with limited supervision. Experience with biologics manufacturing is not necessary but preferred.

Onboarding practices vary with area, but may consist of a multi-week schedule of Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm followed by on the job training for multiple weeks Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday 1:00pm - 11:30pm. Once onboarding and/or training is complete, you will be released to your assigned Manufacturing shift. Shift availability will be determined by matching candidates strengths to shift needs and are subject to change based on business needs and production schedules.

Physical conditions and PPE requirements:<ul><li>
Must be able to work all shifts, required overtime as needed, and stand for extended periods of time.</li><li>

Must be able to successfully pass all job-related tests and certifications required for working in a cGMP quality environment including but not limited to: inspections and GMP requirements to perform essential functions of the job.</li><li>
Must re-qualify every year on all job-related training and certifications as job or qualifications require.</li><li>
May climb upwards of 6 flights of stairs a day to maneuver within the manufacturing facility.</li><li>
Lifting up to 25lbs may be required.</li><li>
The cleanroom environment requires that company provided gowning is worn. This may include plant uniform, coveralls, gloves and safety shoes. Additionally, regulations prohibit makeup, jewelry, and other personal items from entering the clean room environment.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Oceanside is $42,400 - $78,800. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, level, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Manufacturing Associate Technician

<div><div><div>THE POSITION</div>
Pharma Technical Manufacturing (PTM) is responsible for managing all aspects of end-to-end drug substance and drug product manufacturing and supply. From the raw material to the final medicine, we contribute to deliver Roche&rsquo;s ground-breaking therapies to more than 120 million patients around the world. We make our medicines at 9 sites around the world and coordinate all aspects of production of Roche medicines in all disease areas and dosage forms.
To ensure readiness for a step-change in the standard of care that Roche delivers in the area of Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolism (CVRM), PTM will construct a new manufacturing site in the U.S. in Holly Spring, North Carolina. The new site will focus on large volume low cost Drug Product manufacturing (Component Prep &amp; Compounding, Liquid PFS Filling, Automated Inspection, Autoinjector Assembly, Packaging/Finished Products).
The Opportunity
We're looking for a highly skilled Material Planner to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining material supply to meet production demand. You will be a key player in our supply chain, bridging the gap between global procurement and production demand. Additionally, this role will act as the artwork change coordinator, ensuring changes to artwork are considered in our procurement and stocking of packaging materials for our finished goods.
What You&rsquo;ll Do
Start Up Phase:
As part of plant start-up you will manage the material plan to support vendor and site testing of packaging and assembly materials during Factory and Site Acceptance Testing through qualification. This will include coordination with multiple vendors, European Roche sites, and procurement. Additionally, you will act as a Materials Management SME for the SAP ERP setup and deployment; responsible for the timeline, deliverables, and adherence to the global template processes related to MRP, material planning, and procurement.
Initially, you will perform a mix of remote and onsite work (first at the General Planner&rsquo;s office, later at construction site/plant). Travel of up to 30% of the time is expected during this phase. You will transition to full time on-site work at Holly Springs, NC in mid-2026.
Post Start-Up:<ul><li>
You will work with Global Procurement to ensure uninterrupted material supply</li><li>
You will ensure MRP can be met and manage long-lead time materials</li><li>
You will develop plans to avoid material shortages</li><li>
You will optimize inventory to minimize expiration and optimize storage space</li><li>
You will act as the artwork change coordinator and work with the global artwork change team to ensure correct packaging artwork is available on time.</li></ul><ul><li>
You will partner with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components needed for production. Monitor inventory levels and work with the production scheduler to adjust the MPS as needed to prevent stockouts or excessive inventory.</li><li>
You will utilize SAP S/4HANA for planning and execution, and OMP for advanced planning and scheduling. You'll need to be proficient in these systems, generating reports, analyzing data, and making informed decisions.</li><li>
You will apply standard Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) principles and best practices in all aspects of material planning. A strong understanding of planning, scheduling, and inventory management concepts is essential.</li></ul>
Who You Are
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field with 5 years in a material planner or similar supply chain planning role.<ul><li> 
You have proven experience with ERP planning processes and software (eg. SAP S/4HANA and OMP).</li><li>
You have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.</li><li>
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.</li></ul>
Preferred<ul><li>
You have a CPIM (Certified in Planning and Inventory Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certification</li><li>

Material Planner, CVRM (Holly Springs)

The Department of Cell and Tissue Genomics (CTG) is focused on developing and applying state of the art genomics technologies (e.g. single cell omics, high-content imaging, perturbations, etc) to solve key challenges in disease biology, target discovery, and translational medicine. We are seeking a highly talented, creative, and motivated computational biologist to analyze cutting-edge high-dimensional profiling and screening data, with a particular focus on high-content imaging, to decipher complex cellular circuits. The candidate will collaborate closely with members of the department to extract biological insights from diverse high dimensional data sets and support the development of new technologies, leveraging existing computational workflows and developing novel ones.
The Opportunity:
As an integral member of our dynamic team, you will be:<ul><li>
Analyzing high-content imaging data from novel technologies including optical pooled screens, spatial transcriptomics, and high-content perturbation screens, with the goal of extracting mechanistic insights into gene function and cellular phenotypes.</li><li>
Developing methods to analyze and interpret new types of perturbation data.</li><li>
Applying statistics and machine learning to investigate data and extract biological insights.</li><li>
Collaborating across diverse, cross-functional teams including experimentalists in CTG and the therapeutic areas and colleagues in the Computational Sciences Center of Excellence and the AI Biology &amp; Translation departments</li></ul>
Who You Are:<ul><li>
PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. Alternatively, a PhD in molecular biology, immunology, bioengineering, etc. combined with a very strong record of data analysis, supported by publication in this area. Postdoctoral training is a plus.</li><li>
Strong publication record of biological discovery and/or methods development.</li><li>
Deep expertise in image analysis, including image processing, feature extraction, and morphological profiling. Familiarity with modern deep learning approaches (e.g., embeddings, foundation models) is a plus.</li><li>
Comfortable with the statistical principles behind current best practices in high-throughput data analysis.</li><li>
Fluent in Python and/or R.</li><li>
Excellent communication and presentation skills.</li><li>
Able to work successfully in cross-functional teams to collaboratively solve complex problems.</li><li>
Passionate about applying your analytical skills to understand health and disease.</li></ul>
