<div>Position Description: 
The Senior Logistics Engineering Specialist / Technical Lead serves as a team lead and technical focal point for all Logistics, Supportability, and Maintainability issues within the Logistics Engineering Design section, across all programs and contracts. The Lead trains, guides, and assists all junior Logistics Engineers within the section, and is capable of representing the Logistics Engineering organization as the prime technical contact on all contracts and projects. When required the Technical Lead interfaces with external functional groups on significant technical matters that often require coordination between organizations. The Lead is responsible for all team-generated logistics technical input and design recommendations to ensure a balanced design and soldier centric focus. The Lead manages and reviews operator source data development to ensure contract deliverables are delivered on or ahead of schedule and on or below budget. The Lead is responsible for the team's technical interface with the Government for all Logistics issues, and is responsible for ensuring customer expectations are met with regard to Logistics products and services. 
 
The Senior Logistics Engineering Specialist / Technical Lead must be able to: 
<ul><li>Lead and guide teams of Logistics Engineers across several programs to develop contract deliverables within the budget and schedule.</li><li>Interface with design engineers, Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leads, and other functional organizations to ensure logistics, supportability, and maintainability issues are adequately identified and addressed.</li><li>Lead and instruct the performance of Logistics Front End Analysis (FEA) and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), to include Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Supportability Analysis (SA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Analysis to identify resources required to maintain and support the design. Experience with COMPASS software is a plus.</li><li>Review and instruct the review of drawings, Change Requests (CR), Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), computer models and other technical documentation to identify maintenance and supply support requirements for the design.</li><li>Support and teach the development, maintenance and update of requirements database in accordance with GEIA-STD-0007 and MIL-STD-1388-2B. Experience with SlicWave or other LSAR software required.</li><li>Translate engineering &amp; other technical information into source data in support of ILS product development. Develop Logistics Engineering source data to be used in the creation of Operator Technical Manuals.</li><li>Assess and teach the assessment of emerging designs for requirements compliance and recommend design alternatives to enhance supportability and maintainability.</li><li>Provide logistical input during the preparation of programmatic contractual documents (i.e. SOWs, CIDs, CDRLs, SEMPs, etc).</li><li>Support the Section Manager in estimating (bids and proposals), project planning and prioritization, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and execution of Logistics Engineering Scope.</li></ul>
 
The Senior Logistics Engineering Specialist / Technical Lead must have: 
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (Engineering discipline preferred), other disciplines will be considered with extensive military background / experience.</li><li>Army or Marine military experience is highly desirable</li><li>Extensive hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of ground combat vehicles</li><li>Operations and maintenance of ground combat vehicles (Abrams, Stryker, Bradley, LAV) during combat operations is a plus. Abrams or Bradley Master Gunner qualification is a plus.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of Special Tools and Test Equipment (STTE), Basic Issue Items (BII), Component of End Items (COEI) and Additional Authorization List (AAL) items.</li><li>Thorough working knowledge of U.S. Army logistics support structure, policies, and procedures.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communications (oral and written) skills required.</li><li>Team leadership experience.</li><li>Motivation to work independently with minimal supervision.</li><li>Personal computer skills, familiarity with CAD.</li></ul></div>

Working with the Global Security Senior Director, this role will provide leadership oversight, direction and enterprise-wide coordination of global security services for over 8,000 employees located worldwide in various offices, manufacturing facilities and remote locations. The Global Security Manager will enforce security policy and procedures while ensuring the protection of classified information, intellectual property and sensitive government information. Duties include managing enterprise-wide Security programs to meet General Dynamics Land Systems and corporate requirements along with federal regulations and contract requirements.

Responsibilities to Anticipate/Expect: 
Responsible for global security governance and the development, coordination and management oversight of security practices, policies and procedures that ensure the protection of General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) personnel, facilities, classified information and intellectual property. A key responsibility will be the development of an enterprise-wide security strategy that is:<ul><li>
Fully integrated and coordinated with the Leadership Team, GDLS Cyber Security and Program Protections teams and all GDLS functions and business entities.</li><li>
Identifies company's most critical risks and prioritizes security resources in a transparent and cost effective manner to mitigate and reduce these risks.</li><li>
Effectively integrates and communicates Security protocols throughout the enterprise and global workforce.</li></ul> 
 
Additional Responsibilities: 
<ul><li>
Lead the GDLS Security Team and the contract guard force in the execution of their duties and responsibilities.</li><li>
Ensure expert security guidance, risk assessments, and best practices are developed and disseminated in a timely manner.</li><li>
Conducts coordination and liaison with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), Army Counterintelligence and other local, state and federal law enforcement agencies as needed, in coordination with the GDLS General Counsel, to ensure the protection of GDLS personnel and intellectual property.</li><li>
Coordinate for the executive protection of the company President and other executives and employees as required.</li><li>
Responsible for anticipating external threats to employees, business locations, and intellectual property and devising effective and coordinated strategies for mitigating or removing such risk.</li><li>
Monitors global environment for potential security threats to company personnel, sites and business operations.</li><li>
Manages Travel Security program and coordinates with the Global Security Director to suspend/restrict company business travel when risk appropriate.</li><li>
Ensures that all Company personnel traveling or assigned permanently overseas receive appropriate safety and security training, threat briefings, and where appropriate, personnel protection assistance.</li><li>
Develops and manages the Emergency Evacuation Plans for GDLS personnel in high-risk environments.</li><li>
Updates and manages the corporate-wide security systems throughout all sites, to include security CCTV and security access controls.</li><li>
Responsible for planning, developing and implementing security plans and security programs such as Emergency Response and Crisis Management, Physical Security, Incident Management, while coordinating and leading investigations.</li><li>
Develops policies and strategies for security, including but not limited to, internal investigations, security operations, government programs, physical security and access control.</li><li>
Develops and delivers preventative programs and services to the work force to protect against criminal financial loss, crime against persons, sabotage, espionage, and other threats to the business.</li><li>
Ensures all GDLS classified programs are compliant with various US Government requirements, the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manuel (NISPOM), to include counterintelligence briefing / debriefing processes.</li><li>
Provides strategic advice, direction and counsel to all security employees and contractors at all sites.</li><li>
25% travel required both domestic and international.</li></ul> 
 
Minimum Qualifications: 
<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree</li><li>
Able to obtain and maintain a government issued Top Secret Security Clearance (must be a U.S. Citizen).</li><li>
Must be able to manage complex situations and make critical decisions regarding high value programs.</li><li>
Experience managing teams and effective liaison with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.</li><li>
Must be able to respond to incidents or alarms after hours.</li><li>
7+ years professional experience in leading global compliance programs.</li><li>
10+ years of supervisory experience.</li><li>
15+ years physical security experience leading and implementing multiple security best practices.</li></ul>

Candidate has 15+ years of law enforcement or intelligence community experience.</li><li>
Prior experience in leadership concentrated on Physical and Industrial security.</li><li>
