 The Role:
 
 
 
 As a
 
 Quality Engineer
 
 , you will be the single point &ldquo;voice of the customer&rdquo; supporting the Propulsion System Chief Engineer and Program Manager to assure segment leadership in J.D. Power / Warranty IPTV and Cost reduction initiatives. This position also represents propulsion systems with the vehicle platform program quality leadership and program teams.
 
 
 
 What You'll Do:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Perform early issue identification, tracking and resolution to ensure segment leadership.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide clear and timely communication to Quality management relative to quality issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for developing, testing, and creating quality solutions for medium level changes. Defect analysis resolution and verification for vehicle subsystem quality. Performs design reviews.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead launch and current production problem solving activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Deploy quality work according to planned development timing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work with the product team to identify and capture critical status updates for Quality reviews.
 </li>
 <li>
 Facilitate Quality Review meetings and maintain integrity of presentation materials.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support GPS Program Execution Team (PET) with quality analysis information
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyze, project and track warranty and Customer survey information.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support the development of the global quality planning process and templates.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support external customer issues through problem resolution tracking system (PRTS) and supplier practical problem solving (SPPS)
 </li>
 <li>
 Build and cultivate relationships across multiple functions and regions
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Your Skills &amp; Abilities (Required Qualifications):
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree with 2 years of equivalent manufacturing experience
 </li>
 <li>
 2+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to travel up to 10% of the year
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and off shifts, as needed by the business
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>

 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a technical (STEM) related field
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of quality processes and Global Manufacturing System (GMS), Experience with PRTS, SPPS

 Compensation
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 The expected base compensation for this role is: $71,300.00 - $109,400.00. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
 </li>
 <li>
 Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.

 What You&rsquo;ll Do:

 Manage substation maintenance program:
 </li>
 <li>
 Act as am Electrical SME
 </li>
 <li>
 Create/Manage Non-Portfolio Projects
 </li>
 <li>
 Support plant &amp; facilities maintenance with utility issues throughout the plant (utility quality / distribution issues). Lead communications regarding Utility (internal &amp; external) and Production utility disruption notifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain strong Utility Company interface and coordination regarding consistent service, scheduled and non-scheduled disruptions. Lead Root Cause analysis development for External Utility Company disruptions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Resource for engineering services for all facility related systems. Serve as technical liaison for Sustainable Workplace (Facilities) Operations
 </li>
 <li>
 Support 3rd party contract management activities
 </li>
 <li>
 Act as the owner and is responsible for all architectural, electrical, or mechanical categories relating to forecasting, planning, and executing asset sustainment plans and strategies, accountable for facility condition assessments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible to manage and ensure all critical facility drawings for site are maintained current and accurate including but not limited to: revise construction documents to &ldquo;as-built&rdquo; conditions, coordinating with the appropriate GM personnel for updating GM Master Computer Aided Design &amp; Drafting (CADD) files and archiving projects as required to and support common processes for document management during and after project execution.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for the execution of and compliance to the Project Delivery Tool (PDT) Program Manager (PDPM) for their responsible portfolio and projects. High cost and / or high complexity projects requiring engineering.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Your Skills &amp; Abilities (Required Qualifications) :
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 3+ years in design, maintenance, and operation of industrial building electrical systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in project planning, engineering, and execution
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with low voltage power distribution
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of energy systems, medium voltage power distribution, fluid power, or energy conversion preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in managing salaried and/or hourly personnel preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 High level of negotiating skills to resolve issues with both internal and external stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 High level of analytical skills to evaluate and resolve operational problems while working independently.
 </li>
 <li>
 Computer skills including competency in office software and electronic information systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficient use of AutoCAD
 </li>
 <li>
 Able to manage projects within budget and with multiple suppliers, contractors or other GM units.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>

 5+ of experience as Facilities Engineer

 Familiarity with NFPA 70E
 </li>

 Experience in substation maintenance

 Experience with low voltage power distribution
 </li>
 <li>
 BS Electrical Engineering (MS/professional certifications preferred)
