The Role
You will serve as a Staff Technical Program Manager responsible for end-to-end delivery of Embodied AI (EAI) model development programs &ndash; from research integration through production deployment on next-generation autonomy platforms.
In this role, you operate at the intersection of AI research, engineering execution, and product delivery. You translate complex, ML-heavy development efforts into disciplined, predictable execution that results in production-quality systems used in real vehicles, at scale.

As a Staff TPM, you will drive execution for highly visible, technically complex programs with significant cross‑functional and executive exposure. You influence AI strategy, define execution rhythms across teams, and ensure Embodied AI systems meet performance, safety, quality, and readiness standards for L2+ and L4 autonomy.
Examples of initiatives you will own or lead within the Embodied AI domain include:
<ul><li>Driving execution of model training, evaluation, and performance improvement initiatives for AV and ADAS features by partnering across ML, data, evaluation, and platform teams to deliver measurable gains against product and safety targets.
</li><li>Leading end‑to‑end programs for fallback capabilities, ensuring robust Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary detection and behavioral features that support safe operation across both nominal and off‑nominal conditions.
</li><li>Owning delivery of ML platforms and training systems that improve developer velocity across the full model lifecycle &ndash; from data ingestion and training to evaluation, deployment, and iteration.
</li><li>Coordinating localization, sensor alignment, and calibration programs critical to high‑quality sensor data ingestion and downstream ML performance, working closely with perception, mapping, data, and vehicle platform teams.
</li><li>You will also own the operating mechanisms, milestones, and execution frameworks that accelerate Embodied AI development while ensuring models land with the quality, reliability, and efficiency required to scale across multiple platforms and product lines.

Own End-to-End Model Development Execution
<ul><li>Own execution across the full Embodied AI model lifecycle, from research transition and model training through evaluation, system integration, validation, and production release.
</li><li>Drive milestone readiness across model training cycles, performance gates, SC3 program milestones, and feature maturity reviews.
</li><li>Partner closely with AI/ML, Evaluation, and Product leads to define clear success criteria, performance metrics, and evaluation frameworks that align technical progress to product outcomes.
</li><li>Deliver clear, concise, and executive‑ready communication on program status, risks, dependencies, and decisions to senior GM leadership.
</li></ul>Build and Scale Execution Processes for EAI
<ul><li>Design, implement, and operate execution mechanisms that enable faster, more predictable Embodied AI delivery, including:
<ul><li>Planning and execution cadences
</li><li>KPI‑driven performance reporting and dashboards
</li><li>Model training, evaluation, and release workflows
</li><li>Issue escalation, dependency management, and risk mitigation processes

</li></ul>Your Skills &amp; Abilities (Required Qualifications)
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
</li><li>8+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering program leadership, or closely related roles within software‑ or ML‑intensive environments.
</li><li>Proven track record of leading large‑scale AI/ML, autonomy, or complex software system programs from early concept through production deployment.
</li><li>Strong working knowledge of modern model development workflows, including data ingestion and curation, model training pipelines, evaluation and metrics, deployment, and iteration.
</li><li>Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in highly cross‑functional environments, influencing senior engineering, product, and research leaders to drive execution, resolve tradeoffs, and align priorities.
</li><li>Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical execution into clear, executive‑level narratives around progress, risks, and decisions.

The Role
As a Staff Product Manager &ndash; Navigation Experience, you will own and evolve a significant part of the navigation products deployed in future GM vehicles. This includes GM&rsquo;s primary navigation experience, as well as key integrations with other GM experiences like charging, OnStar, AI voice assistant, and GM mobile apps.
This role is critical because the scope of this product experience is large, will impact all of our customers, and will operate at a very large scale. You will be accountable for managing integrating the core navigation experience with other GM services, as well as product health, quality, customer experience, roadmap evolution, and lifecycle management.
You will work closely with internal cross-functional partners and external vendors as a key strategic partner. Success in this role requires strong product ownership, a customer-centric point-of-view, vendor management skills, technical depth, and the ability to balance near-term operational needs with long-term product strategy. 
 
What You&rsquo;ll Do
<ul><li>Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for a significant part of GM&rsquo;s future navigation experience, including integration of GM services like charging, OnStar, voice assistant, and mobile.
</li><li>Serve as the single-point product owner for defined parts of the navigation experience, accountable for product quality, reliability, customer satisfaction, and roadmap execution.
</li><li>Define and drive portions of the product strategy and roadmap for navigation at GM, including feature evolution, version upgrades, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
</li><li>Act as the primary interface with external navigation vendors, managing partnerships, contractual deliverables, escalations, roadmap alignment, and performance.
</li><li>Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Program Management, Strategic Partnerships, Purchasing, Chief Engineers, and Operations to deliver high-quality navigation experiences across vehicle programs.
</li><li>Identify, prioritize, and resolve customer-impacting issues in production, balancing speed, quality, and long-term architectural considerations.
</li><li>Use data, telemetry, customer feedback, and market insights to drive informed product decisions and continuous improvements.
</li><li>Clearly communicate product direction, tradeoffs, risks, and progress to executive and cross-functional stakeholders.

</li><li>Translate complex product and technical concepts into compelling narratives that drive alignment across Engineering, Design, Program, and cross-functional stakeholders.
</li><li>Drive alignment with Marketing and Communications departments for product launch.
</li><li>Present product direction, tradeoffs, and roadmaps effectively to senior leadership, influencing decision-making and securing alignment and buy-in.
</li><li>Facilitate working sessions and reviews using written artifacts as the primary mechanism for clarity, accountability, and execution.
</li></ul>Your Skills &amp; Abilities (Required Qualifications)
<ul><li>7+ years of experience in software or digital product management, with ownership of customer-facing products at scale.
</li><li>Proven experience managing complex, technology-driven products with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
</li><li>Experience working with external technology vendors or platform partners, including roadmap alignment and issue escalation.
</li><li>Strong understanding of navigation, mapping, location-based services, GPS/GNSS systems, or adjacent domains (e.g., mobility, automotive software, embedded systems).
</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage products in the early stages of development and in production environments.
</li><li>Experience balancing customer needs, technical constraints, business priorities, and contractual obligations.
</li><li>Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to guide prioritization and measure success.

Staff Product Manager – Navigation Experience

The Role
The Quality Operations Business Manager is a key leader responsible for driving quality performance and launch readiness across GMNA manufacturing operations. This role provides business-focused oversight of the GM Quality System, GMS BIQ principles, and the Global Quality Manual, ensuring customer-focused quality requirements are built into daily operations and new program launches. The manager partners with Assembly Plant leadership, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to define problems clearly, mentor teams through complex issue resolution, and provide transparent updates on risks and corrective actions, with regular travel to GMNA plants.

<ul><li>Own and improve key quality metrics for assigned plants/programs, translating issues into clear business impacts and prioritized actions.
