<div>JOB SUMMARY:

GP&amp;C&rsquo;s Production Lead supports all aspects regarding Safety, Quality, Delivery, &amp; Cost (SQDC) of an assigned portion of a production Value Stream(s). Value Stream (VS) is defined from receipt of materials through the shipment of good to the customer. The Production Lead will lead, coach, and influence all direct employees affiliated with their section or portion of the VS. This position will interact with other Production Leaders, Production Supervisors, Manufacturing Production Managers, Engineers, Scheduler/Planners, and Quality personnel in carrying out duties and responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Put Safety first at all times! Never compromise on safety for the obtainment of other objectives. The Production Lead is responsible for the health and safety of themselves, their team as well as coworkers
</li>
<li>Ensures operational goals are met in the areas of Safety, Quality Delivery, and Cost (SQDC)
</li>
<li>Support and lead continuous improvements in the areas of SQDC
</li>
<li>Observe, support, &amp; contribute to GP&amp;C safety programs, policies &amp; initiatives. Implement and continually monitor safe work practices in their assigned area of the Value Stream. Conduct required safety &amp; environmental audits, 5S audits, JHA assessments, identify and correct hazards, and assure that all other employees follow safe work practices
</li>
<li>Working Production Lead with some time delegated to administrative duties
</li>
<li>Track daily / weekly production, give updates daily and identify problems
</li>
<li>Ensure the flow of subcomponents through the cell &quot; bottle necks&quot;
</li>
<li>Write NCRs and work with Engineers to clear parts from NCR as needed
</li>
<li>Provide work direction to workers assigned to the work cell, coordinate vacation and lunch/break coverage, obtain overtime coverage as approved
</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and assist in solving production problems utilizing root cause analysis tools as appropriate
</li>
<li>Coordinate and provide training to technicians in assigned portion of VS. Ensure all technicians in their assigned portion of the VS are trained to the current revision of the Work Instructions (WI) and are following the WI at all times. Ensure layered process audits are taking place on a regular basis
</li>
<li> Contribute to process improvement and cost reduction initiatives
</li>
<li> Responsible for housekeeping and organization (5S) for assigned section of the VS.
</li>
<li> Responsible for ensuring raw materials, tooling, WIs &amp; general supplies needed are present at each work station and surplus materials are properly stored
</li>
<li> Ensure proper completion of production and traceability documentation
</li>
<li> Must have or quickly learn how to set-up and operate key equipment in work cell. Help in establishing, implementing, and sustaining TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
</li>
<li> Operate and troubleshoot process monitoring / data acquisition equipment/program/software
</li>
<li> Understand and utilize various MAX transactions such as but not limited to: labor in, labor out, issuing materials, closing materials to stock, view current stock in warehouse etc.
</li>
<li> Troubleshoot and assist in solving inventory issues; min/ max materials, variance reports, batch &amp; lot discrepancies
</li>
<li> Provide input in annual technician review process
</li>
<li> Follow Leader Standard Work
</li>
<li> Lead Start-up Meeting (Tier 1), Involvement in 0800 meeting (Tier 2)</li></ul>

Materials Lead

<div>ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:<div> 
<ul><li>Load and unload ovens</li><li>Complete paperwork as required</li><li>Select and verify oven cure profiles</li><li>Sweep and Mop floors as required</li><li>Labor in/out using data collect</li><li>Maintain 5S standards</li><li>Move completed parts to staging area</li><li>Perform necessary preventative maintenance on equipment</li><li>Work closely with other departments to determine oven schedule</li><li>Use of overhead crane</li><li>Follow all work procedures for the area</li><li>Comply with all safety and company policies</li></ul></div> 

QUALIFITCATIONS &amp; EXPERIENCE:<div> 
<ul><li>No experience required</li><li>High school diploma or GED</li><li>Basic computer skills</li><li>Read and speak English</li></ul></div> 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS &amp; WORK ENVIRONMENT:<div> 
<ul><li>Must be able to lift 45lbs</li><li>Must be able to wear all required PPE</li><li>Must be able to stand for 10-12 hrs per shift</li><li>Must be able to work in both hot and cold conditions</li><li>Must be able to work around different types of resins and composite materials</li><li>Must be able to work around chemicals and solvents such as acetone, releasing agents and various cleaning supplies</li></ul></div>
