Generation Justice

Generation Justice (GJ) is seeking a bookkeeper and finance assistant to provide bookkeeping, finance organization, operational support, and fundraising initiatives, including assistance in grant writing and grant reporting. This team player will have exceptional organizational skills and experience in non-profit operations and systems development.QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to the GJ mission</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in Bookkeeping/Payroll</li><li>Fluency with both Google Suite and Microsoft Suite, especially Excel and Google Sheets</li></ul>RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Manage staff contractor&rsquo;s payroll, reimbursements, and invoices</li><li>Update grant tracking spreadsheets weekly</li><li>Reconcile internal grant spreadsheets against fiscal sponsor&rsquo;s reports monthly</li><li>Manage petty cash</li><li>Personnel contracts and organizing HR information</li><li>Filing of payroll, grant documents, and HR</li><li>Donation tracking</li><li>Budget planning and projections</li><li>Equipment orders, inventories</li><li>Assist with Reporting Finances to funders</li><li>Other duties as required for the mission of GJ.</li></ul>SALARY &amp; BENEFITSSalary for Generation Justice is competitive and based on experience. This is a part-time (20-25 hours/week) contract position.
