Our brand blends luxury aesthetics, functional innovation, and exceptional craftsmanship.We are looking for a talented Luggage Designer with proven experience in adult luggage, travel bags, and backpacks to help bring our next iconic collections to life.About the RoleAs the Luggage Designer, you will work closely with the VP of Merchandising to conceptualize and develop premium travel products from ideation through production. You&rsquo;ll be responsible for translating design concepts into fully detailed tech packs, creating graphics and branding, and ensuring designs meet both style and function standards.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Design high-end luggage, travel bags, and backpacks for adult consumers.</li><li>Develop complete and accurate tech specs/tech packs, including materials, trims, hardware, and construction details.</li><li>Create product graphics, prints, and branding elements aligned with the brand&rsquo;s aesthetic.</li><li>Collaborate with the VP of Merchandising on design direction, trend insights, and consumer needs.</li><li>Support the product development lifecycle, from concept boards to final production handoff.</li><li>Liaise with factories/suppliers to ensure design integrity and quality.</li><li>Stay current on market trends, innovation, materials, and travel lifestyle design.</li></ul>Qualifications&#9989; Minimum 3&ndash;5 years experience designing luggage, travel bags, or backpacks (required) &#9989; Strong portfolio showcasing adult luggage/travel products &#9989; Proficient in CAD and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) &#9989; Proven experience creating detailed tech specs and spec sheets &#9989; Knowledge of construction, hardware, and functional features specific to luggage &#9989; Understanding of trend forecasting and consumer insights &#9989; Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills &#9989; Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlinesWork Environment<ul><li>Hybrid role &ndash; Requires 2&ndash;3 days per week in our Brooklyn office</li><li>Collaborative, fast-paced, creative atmosphere</li><li>Direct access to executive leadership and product decision-making</li></ul>Why Join Us?&#10024; Be part of designing meaningful, iconic travel pieces &#10024; Work on premium product with long-term brand impact &#10024; Creative ownership and visibility &#10024; Opportunity to innovate within the luxury travel spaceHow to ApplyPlease submit your resume, portfolio (required), and a short note on why you&rsquo;re passionate about designing travel products.Job Types: Part-time, ContractExpected hours: 15 &ndash; 30 per weekWork Location: Hybrid remote in Brooklyn, NY 11204
