Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers/Home Health Aids to provide exceptional in-home and community-based care to individuals of all ages. In this vital role, you will support clients with daily activities, medical needs, and emotional well-being, fostering independence and enhancing quality of life. All roles are paid positions, emphasizing the value we place on your skills and commitment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support</li><li>Monitor and observe patients&rsquo; conditions, recording vital signs and changes in health status accurately</li><li>Administer medications following prescribed schedules and document medication administration in medical records or electronic health record (EHR) systems</li><li>Support clients with specialized needs such as Alzheimer&rsquo;s care, dementia care, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities</li><li>Operate medical equipment like Hoyer lifts, catheters, and other assistive devices safely and effectively</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation</li><li>Document all patient interactions and medical information in compliance with HIPAA regulations using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR systems</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Prior experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings preferred</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient care procedures</li><li>Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) required; additional certifications such as hospice or dementia training are a plus</li><li>Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans and protocols</li><li>Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams</li><li>Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs highly valued</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transportation preferred for home visits</li></ul>Join our team to provide compassionate care that truly makes a difference!
